Yes, there is nothing wrong with your post and I don't really want to argue with you, I just want to be clear that people like you don't represent the entire poker community. There are lots of people who consider a min-cash better than losing...it reduces variance somewhat and a small win keeps people coming back.
Lets be honest shall we? Most of the people here care zero for other players or for recs. You only care about yourselves. Everything you say is slanted toward making it better for yourselves and your bottom line whereas PokerStars is trying to look at the long term...they're trying to find a way to grow and continue to do business in a shrinking market.
I have a few friends who used to play MTTs on Stars and
all of them have stopped playing. The single biggest reason they stopped was
they never win. Perhaps if these people min-cashed occasionally they would stick around?
