Alright seems like they rolled forward the tournament from the moment it got cancelled, not from the moment the DC's started happening. So the people who got DC'd still are screwed big time.

The people who played on got massive value for just getting all the chips and then do chip chop. I DC'd way before the cancellation of 2 tournaments and just got blinded out and got the lower payout regardless. For instance the Hot $22, I got DC problems when the playercount was around 300. Busted for only like $80 payout, the chip chop only happened for the last 27 remaining players, while the DC's started happening way earlier.

Yes, very poor decisions by Stars there. It seems obvious you should cancel it when the problem appeared... So unfair how they did it

The emergency restart has concluded and service has returned to normal. When the system came back up around 00:05 GMT, we cancelled all tournaments until 00:20, rolled back a few that had started but not dealt any hands, and then performed a mass roll forward on all remaining tournaments. Upon completion of those actions, we slowly brought games back just as we typically do after a restart.

Why you didnt make the ICM calculations when the problem appeared, not when you rebooted?

Pokerstars doesn't think it's a problem that some people have been disconnected for hours, lost their stacks and will receive barely any compensation whereas people who have been reaping chips off those disconnected players now get a chip-chop?

I was discconect from server.. let said.. 2 hours ago... in the exact moment the bubble of the BIG55 was in play.

I got 70K (for eleven place at the time.. in blinds 500/1k)

I was disconnect and i cant return.. then i read ur twitter.. and read this.. and a lot more info from friends that got the same problem...


Still.. some people dont go offline.. they chip up effortless.


So... now i enter pokerstars after the restart..

I joined a $22 Hyper which was still running and accepting registrations for 5 more minutes, which they decided to shut off because it had massive overlay.

Wow...after reading 'simianvalue's' post, I think some clarification is needed in regards to just how Pokerstars decides on the timing of using formulas such as the 'roll-forward / roll-back' in situations like the one that just occured.

@simianvalue - I would also email pokerstars support with the info you have and ask for answers from them...

so stars.fr receive overlay money and we players of .com receive a big **** ?
