Where have all the regular MTT's gone? It's like the core of the poker heart has been ripped out and replaced with a jumble of things that takes away from sitting down against opponents and battling it out in a true sense of good old fashioned poker.
Just about every MTT seems to be a Progressive KO or a bounty builder (no idea why they have different names as, they seem like pretty much the same thing to me) and what's with the antes right from the start?!
Why dilute the BIGS, HOTS etc...into multiple every hour events with small prize pools? You've taken away the prestige of the event and also my looking forward to the one time of the day I could play in a decent MTT with a decent prize pool.
I much preferred the old schedule where there was more chance to simply buy-in once, battle it out and see how good you really were in comparison to your opponents. Now it seems like each tourney is simply a crap-shoot or luck-fest or whatever you want to name it and personally for me, it's not the same playing on Pokerstars anymore.
I guess Pokerstars could say that, your moving with the times and we need to simply adapt to these MTT's. Adapting to a donk-fest style of play is one thing but, I don't see the current WSOP MTT schedule moving with the times and looking like the Pokerstars MTT schedule. I personally think that the only time Pokerstars is moving to is away from everyone else in there own little world.
I've noticed that in the last week or so that i've been back playing, i'm playing less on Pokerstars and more on another site that has a regular schedule with more oppourtunity to play properly. I'm doing well in those regular MTT's too, in comparison to Pokerstars so, where do you think it's likely i'm going to spend my money and provide more rake?
I was looking forward to the MM events and the chance to see a schedule that might provide more regular play MTT's in it like previously run events but, I now doubt that's likely. No doubt they will all be replaced and there's now less chance of my playing in many, if not any events.
Inserting the event schedule into the client only a couple of days before the series starts, is also pretty poor in my opinion for many numerous reasons.
Overall, an unpleasant return to Pokerstars in it's current form (not to mention all the tech issues as well) and i'm left as one dissatisfied customer, who may now be playing a lot more elsewhere instead.

Definitely agree with the Bigs/Hots always being "prestigious" to go deep in one since only one big/Hot of each buyin ran per day on the old schedule. Clearly the new schedule was designed to lower regs' ROI and allow recs less opportunities to hit a large score with the payout structures. The former has definitely hit me and many others I know hard since the changes and I've been forced to move most of my roll to 888 and Party.
Only other comment I have.
Blue Tourneys - Excellent
