Are these "timebomb" tournaments something new, or just the same old timed tournaments with a new name?

Bug: When I search for them with filters, I can't get them to appear by checking individual options in the "Type" filter, I must have the "All" option selected.

Not sure if this has already been discussed or when this was implemented but if $11+R will continue with 80 minutes rebuy period then I'll stop regging it. Don't see a single valid point for doing this and it's gonna take even longer now and even more recreationals will stop regging it.

since they implemented this with all of the rebuys they have been performing excellently....think you are literally the first person to come to the thread with this complaint

If you gonna make starting time this mess, at least never make it start before the real time, hate to miss late registration because that, too many new times.

I wrote this to Party yesterday. I think it is the nut tournament structure for specific kind of tournaments (tournaments that have 2-3 hours late reg) it allows the players who love to play deep stacked play for a long time whilst having attractive levels that also encourages early registers toon. It has enough of a structure to allow satalites to run for the first hour, and then the tournament runs relatively quickly and improves drastically at the end. There will be some tournaments where it won't be applicable but in general I think it would be such a sexier and more enjoyable structure that would really make it fun to play. B109, b82, Sunday warm up, million, second chance, 320 6max, kick off, 320 sko, weekender, Super Tuesday, Thrill would all be way better like this impbo (potentially biased)

100/200/20 - 10 minutes

End of late registrations (3 hours) (25bbs) clock is now 14 minutes for 5 levels then 16 minutes for 5 levels, then 18 minutes for 5 levels then 20 minutes thereafter.

Also think it's pretty perfect structure for SCOOPs.

Live tournaments have went exactly down this route, people simply love having lots of chips. Getting to 40,000 chips doesn't feel all that much but getting to 100,000 chips in this structure mentally feels really a lot more exciting even though it's exactly the same.

Tournaments are becoming boring for a lot of people, they don't play a lot of sessions, they just fire turbos or Sunday's/Tuesday's. I would be way more inclined to grind a midweek day with these kind of structures. I don't think you have to worry at all about their being "too many chips" the chip leader on Sunday million final would have 30million instead of 15m that's not a hugely bad thing at all imo. Starting with 100k stacks sure it can get silly, but I think this is perfect balance.

Why not try it on the weekender? It can't be too hard to implement?

Edit: do it before Party do it or potentially lose bunch of people over there who would rather play their nightly 50k 109 (potentially increasing to 70k) rather than the big109 that feels abit withered midweek. Spice it up boys.

Giving us the minis that one Sunday and then never again is like a girl coming back to my place, leading me on for hours then leaving me hanging with my pants down. Not only that but she never calls me again. It's embarrassing. The sad part is I didn't even play a session that Sunday so I never even got to try the minis. That's equivalent to her coming back to my place then slapping me in the face. It's tough to deal with.

When is the new schedule in the works for Luke? Anything but late December pls mate.

I expect some changes now that TCOOP is over, so here are my 2 cents:

- I like the idea of sunday minis, and minituesday/thrill.

- 55t reentry, 44t and 33t are regfests. Still think theres ev there obv, but you can have a better offer with those 187$ in BIs.

- I don´t like timed MTTs. With that structure regs have ridiculous ROI, and recs are wasting money they would invest somewhere else. If you want to have these, do a better structure and make them red. 5,5/11/22/33 and GTD.

fyi the $306 scheduled hyper sattys to the super tuesday have a 4 player minimum yet 0 seats guaranteed. i'm fairly sure you can guarantee a seat here if the game pops.

I enjoyed the 60 minute games that used to exist with a 2500 starting stack and 6 x 10 minute levels. Even if there was only 40 - 60 people, there was still some good money to be made.

Yesterday I had a few bugs when playing MTTS on stars.

Played 32 mtts in 10 hours, average 10 to 12 at a time.

Bug 1 : Two times the software just froze at one table, right at the time I hit an action button. It made all the other tables freeze as well. I could only fix it by shutting down stars and restarting. This has cost me some pots.

Bug 2: When I select/deselect 'Show Upcoming Only' in the lobby, the added/removed MTTS only show up or disappear when I leave the lobby and return. This used to change instantly.

Bug 3: The Starscoin-progress bar showing at the table changes. When a table opens, it is always full ( orange colour). When I drag the table around to my other screen, it changes to the real progress percentage.

All these bugs have been around since the last update, and I think since the update before that but I am not sure.

In the past I have never had such bugs.

Exact same problem for me too since update, can I ask are u in the UK ? It seems mostly affected people but some outside uk are getting it too I think

Not playing till this is sorted we just frivorously giving away $ every time we play, they did put my email through to the programming team so hopefully they find something soon :/

Had an update few hours ago, progress bar bug is gone. Tables have not frozen yet today after 6 hours of playing so that seems fine. Lobby display bug is still there.

There is just a small annoyance to be noted. When you have busted a tournament and there is still late registration open, you are able to still click register and the tournament gets highlighted as if you had the tournament running once again. Then you have to click unregister for a popup to come up that says "you finished in xx place."

The tournament shouldn't be highlighted once again if you busted the tournament. Only the popup "you have already played this tournament" should come up and that is all.

I have one complaint regarding timebanks for turbo mtts. The 30 sec starting timebank is just fine. However a 5 second increase every 1 hour (12 levels) is simply not often enough. I think that at least 5 seconds should be added every 30 min (6 levels).

My reason is this: Let's face it, there are lags and disconnections that happen very often if you look at it on the big scale.

Our timebanks get crippled when such mishaps occur. Especially those who live in areas where the internet service isn't always the best out there. This is out of our control. So when we come back to the tables after multiple disconnects or 1 severe one, our timebank is usually completely depleted (or close to) at times.

Once your timebank is nearly at 0, 5 seconds every 1 hour is pretty much a joke. A change needs to happen regarding this issue.

I have also seen multiple posts regarding the 2x and 3x turbo mtts. The 15 second timebank is especially subject to fall to 0 very often and this is without considering lagging/disconnects.

I think that it should be 30 seconds just like every other turbo mtt.

I would like to see the 55$ Cube on Sunday replaced/improved. It's a "Sunday Special", yet lacks any kind of promo, not even red and I think a similar BuyIn (or the same one with better promo, more sats, higher guarantee, w/e) marketed as a SundayTournament for the timeslot between PacificRim and SundayKickoff would be great.
Recently discussed the tourney with another reg who occasionally plays in the morning and he didn't even know the tournament existed...

Also, between 11:30 and 16:30 there's no 27$ hyper, would be great to fill that gap with at least 1 Hyper to accompany the 82$ and 5$ hypers.

Wow...I see mini kickoff in the lobby. But no other minis. Is this just a test?
