Could expand that to $1. Schedule needs to fill out some of the holes.

Evolution >>> revolution.

Just saying.

Hopefully the fixes/rollbacks are coming at the speed of light in order to avoid an impending ****up of cosmic proportions, pun intended.

the phase 2 tournament was 100k gtd and has a 182k prize pool at the moment.

I also think that this new phase 2 that has 2.2k players should reward everyone who got through phase 1

It seems like the structure improvements talked about are deployed in the schedule today. Games feel better, but haven't made it deep to know what it's like. Anyone final table a big today with thoughts?

215 bounty builder (cool i guess)
(used to be able to reg b82 which was really great to late reg)

then in the next hour you can reg (5-6pm)

215 warm up <3
109 freezeout (pretty boring for a sunday)

then from next hour can reg (6-7pm)

big 109
hot 162
82 hyper
55 psko (super underwhelming for a sunday)

between 7-8pm there is only 1 tournament to reg!!,this is absolute peak time

bounty builder 109

between 8-9pm

55r (pretty underwhelming for a sunday and excessively raked)
sunday million <3
hot 55
320 6max

between 9-10pm

big 55
hot 109

So peak time like 4-10pm on a Sunday for somebody who wants to register between 50-500mtts (assuming this is quite a lot of people) you have the following

5-6pm (2 mtts) one random freezeout
6-7pm (4mtts) 1 hyper, 1 55$ psko, 1 turbo
7-8pm (1 mtt) YES ONE!!
8-9pm (4 mtts) 55r which is v bad, one turbo
9-10pm (2 mtts) one turbo
10-11pm (3 mtts) 1 psko

So for main time begging on stars where previously there was a bunch you can reg, the offer is super underwhelming.

The only red non turbo tournaments we currently have on Stars on a Sunday from the 5-11pm time I'm working with here for most people regging:

Big $109
Big $55
Big $215

There is a huge gap, especially at 7pm for a high stakes tournament,

The $109r was such an amazing and prestigious tournament, even with high rake you still got a lot of players.

The Sunday 2nd chance could easily run at 9.30pm, there is only two tournaments that hour, you have big55 at 9.00pm and hot 109 at 9,30pm. Its exactly 90 minutes after Sunday Million so is a perfect slot for 2nd chance tournament

The $162 Sunday 6 max could EASILY be instead of the $320 vanilla 6max, even make it red and $320 and call it the Sunday $320 6m?

The Sunday 530 would be perfect at 7:00pm you only have one tournament in this whole hour? The 109 bounty builder, why not run at least one of these tournaments here.

I really think you should reconsider your Sunday offering here, maybe I'm missing something or being short sighted about it, but compensating the huge hole in this schedule and removing 4 of your best 6 tournaments (and not even running the b82 or b162!! which was amazing starting and finishing tournaments) with a $1050 and $700 psko seems like you're just trying to price mid stakes regs out of taking shots in tournaments and forcing them to play more rake churning hypers, rebuys and pskos or you're hoping for some reason to send regulars broke, the latter doesn't make so much sense to me, but the former is a scary proposition if this is how things will continue to trend. Please bring back some of these reds.
Agree with a decent amount of the above.

Played my first sunday session since the new changes today. I've been pretty religious about playing Sunday mid-high stakes MTTS for the last 7-8 years and pretty much never miss a sunday assuming I'm not in the US or somewhere I cant play.

That said this is probably the most disappointed i've ever been with the sunday schedule for someone who's been a long time high stakes regular who dabbles in the medium tab level buy ins as well.

To start the day at 5pm CET we would always have the warmup and the 109 rebuy as two options of fairly large prize pools and bigger buy ins. Now that the 109 rebuy is no more i feel like there should be something else significant here with a big prize pool and payout to first place. Today i couldn't find anything too interesting so i just turned my computer off and did something more interesting and came back and registered The warmup a few hours in.

I haven really properly went through all these changes to figure out exactly whats missing but just going through the lobby while playing today it felt like there was a ton of tourneys but most of them turbos or small guarantees and just not many tournaments with huge payouts to first place... almost made me want to just skip the day and go play cash games or go do something else with my Sunday. ( I actually finished my day at 22:40 CET because i busted a couple things quicker than normal and somehow had no table sup so i just unregistered the later turbos and am ending my day early... That has literally never happened to me in 7-8 years where i have a gap of no tables to play on a sunday) Obviously its because i skipped some things but whatever i skipped was because they just didn't feel like their was much value in the form of big prize pools, big fields, bit first prize payouts etc.

I love that you added a $1k on Sunday but something i always wondered with the Sunday $500 is why they wouldn't move that tournament a few hours later. I've asked 40+ high stake regs at live events over the last couple months who all agreed they would love for the Sunday $500 (or now the $1k) to start a few hours earlier. It already ends fairly late if you are in Canada/Mexico and if you're in europe or anymore further east it goes till the sun comes up, but more importantly you typically end up 1 tabling it. I always felt like the Sunday $500 would have a much better turnout if it was earlier and same for the $1k as all the high stake players have already started their tourneys earlier in the day and are skipping some of the turbos and $55 so they have plenty of space to add the $1k onto their screens earlier and if they chose not to the deep structure and 3.5 hour late reg gives plenty of time.

Summary:
- add something with a big guarantee earlier in the day thats slightly higher stakes (that isn't a turbo) with some guarantee thats in the $200-$300 buy in range maybe an hour after the warmup starts so that High/Medium Stake regs have a reason to start their session that early. I guess you do have the big $109 there now but still feels like this time period is lacking since that was just a tournament i really liked slightly later in the day thats moved into this slot.

- Move the $1k 2-3 hours earlier and maybe even the Big $215 30 minutes earlier so that people aren't skipping tournaments if they've already busted out some of the earlier ones quickly and don't want to stay up to 1 table these while the sun is coming up (for those in europe and Asia etc)

- There is no second chance and the big $215 isn't very big considering its only a 150k guaranteed where as that used to be a $163 with the same guarantee (which i without a doubt preferred as a $163 with that guarantee) So there is really not much to be excited about later in the day (that isn't a turbo) i feel like this entire schedule is just missing one more significant tournament that everyone is excited to play where as right now I can easily see myself wishy washy about continuing a session where as when you have tourneys like the warmup, million, and then the big $162 and second chance starting up soon after i pretty much would be excited about every single one of those (as they had big prize pools and 1st prize payouts around $40k+) and would never consider ending my session early.

Im not saying this as some angry threat or something but i genuinely don't feel that excited about playing Sundays anymore (or saturdays) with the way this schedule is.... where as over the last 8 years i would purposely avoid booking flights and making plans on any given sunday... I can be the only one feeling this way. If they stay the same i don't see myself going out of the way to make sure i don't miss sundays the way i always have.

Sunday Million squeaking over guarantee on a day when a good % of the world has a day off work tomorrow.

iirc it got 7k the last time something similar happened.

Meanwhile it's the biggest field it's ever had.

I agree the blinds after BB1000 need to be redone. We're missing a few levels.

maybe thats because they're shoving 2x as many phase 1s down the players' throats? It surely isnt because of the new "refined" structure lol

Yes maybe i was a bit too harsh, but this was a slow mtt which now is a shovefest. And as you said some blinds are missing.
Probably had the biggest field ever because Phase1 returned to 15 levels instead of 10%.

Day 6, post nr. 6.
The implementation of dynamic structures. I am seriously excited about the implications of this functionality! Imagine a typical freezeout but the levels are eight minutes in length, then 10 minutes once the money is reached, 12 minutes at the final three tables, and 15 minutes at the final table. The ability to lengthen the excitement of going deep in a tournament in a dynamic way has a lot of potential.
And then almost five months later
Overall, I do think tournaments need to be shortened some amount. I've made the conversion from professional to recreational player and my single biggest consideration of if I play a tournament or not is its length. If I am going to play 4-5 hours, not make the money, and be exhausted for work, I'm not interested. I acknowledge that this doesn't apply to our biggest weekly tournaments, but I think we need to draw a fine line in the daily schedule.

I'm asking, what has changed (think I know the answer but I would like one because this seems like a pretty big lie)?

Be honest please. You've been very selective in your answers so I'm going to be annoying and repeat this post every day until you answer.
