We can win multiple seats to the $215 Main Event Low ; have I understood this correctly?

Suggestion regarding satellites : Party used to have a system where if you won a ticket for a specific tournament the next seats you win will be credited in T$ no matter if you are or not registered to the tournament with that first ticket.
This would help not playing from the start and receiving T$ too.

Way too long day1s! $11+R WCOOP had less than 20 left! Should end day1 after 6-7 hours to get equal length day2

Yea I was wrong, running time was "only" a few minutes over 7 hours, although it was a fun tournament to rail!

I agree with this, but I am pretty sure pokerstars has some "great" explaination as to why this wont happen

On September 11, most tournaments on PokerStars will be changing to deeper payouts. Tourneys that have been paying 12% will change to 14%; 14% will change to 16%; 16% will change to 18%, and 18% will change to 20%. Keep in mind that this doesn’t affect every tournament; there’s no change to approximately 30% of the weekly recurring schedule. Examples of unaffected tournaments are Progressive Knockouts, many high buy-ins, and tournaments already paying 20%.

^ This cat has been right more often than not so I can't say I'm glad you posted this. I'm going to say you're only half right.

I predict we will see a half rake increase. All 200+15's will get a jump to 200+20 to stay in line with the rest of the offerings at Pokerstars. Basically all tourneys will be raked x+10%. The only exceptions will be at the $500 which will only go up to a max of $40. 1k's less rake as well.

Nearly every form has been exhausted (although the hunt continues) to "invisibly increase rake" by syphoning off weaker players to other "higher effective rake formats". Prior to this all formats were sped up and increased payout percentage, or added variations like PSKO etc which have all been designed to lower feasible winrates which in turn keep recs around longer, which creates recycled rake which is good for business.... at least in the short run.

Thrill and super should be $530 every week. Will probably get a bigger prizepool than it currently does outside of wcoop. As a semi retired reg im happy punting a $500 the $1ks are too expensive sure $530 a much better price point overall.

Ignore the pio solving wizards who want everything super high. They are such a small % of the player base.

Welcome to 1.1x mincash stars! Play on our site, where you will be ITM TWICE as much as other sites. We even made our lobby more transparent, where you don't have to bother anymore to see how much rake we take. We even make changes during WCOOP, so players can notice those less. We also like angle videos to promote, we also made the biggest angle in histrory by **** over our biggest volume players. How fun is that? Come and see it? Just kidding! Play on party!

What's happening with splash satellites to wcoop events this year, I can't find any? I think they were called triple turbo or something, those were fun and I can actually qualify if I rebuy enough haha.
Sit and go sats are just dominated by russians ):

So thrilling cashing for $12 in an $11 tourney

Time to cash out after WCOOP and move to Party. GG

I'm not a reg by any means, at best probably slightly beating the games and a huge part of the appeal for me, and presumably most small-winning/breakeven/small-losing players, is huge scores from small buy-ins. I won't be surprised to see MTTs suffer from this move.

As if it wasn´t enough that Prizepools decreased anyway and thus became less appealing after sucking most Recs into unbeatable casinogames with a poker mask, Stars now needs to make Payouts flatter in order to finish off MTTs entirely.

Btw, psychologically i find it quite interesting to interprete what would make an ex-MTTer wanting to work for a company that treats his ex-colleagues this awful.

Remember, they just changed their software to remove the rake information from its former prominent location in a tournament lobby and buried it in a place that probably 95+% of players never look at when they register for a tournament.

That being said, people would certainly notice if the Sunday Million changed from costing $215 to costing $220, but most wouldn't notice if it changed from a $200+15 (costing $215) to $196+19 (still costing $215).

Ahh yes 196+19 does have a less noticeable ring to it.

when I was a rec or reg it didn't matter. the chance at getting a big score from a small amount of $ was one of the most appealing aspects of poker. cashing a 20$ mtt for 30$ is more tilting than exciting imo.

clearly just another move to level the playing field for recs and have regs win less/recs bleed slower. anyways doesnt really matter, the camel's back was already broken for me with the introduction of chests. absurd how quick things are being run into the ground...but I guess that's the end goal?
