Ended up busting on this hand. Had a great run in the tournament and made two very costly mistakes to get to this point. I played extremely poorly the last hour or so making dumb decisions with a large stack. I satellited in so ITM means +250 to me which is a considerable and very respectable amount to me. I have been trying to sat into these bigger events as an opportunity to play better opponents and and chance at bigger scores. This is my 3rd time playing the million. This hand is driving me nuts especially since I left the table open for a while and the next time I was on the button Aces were dealt to my seat and on that same hand, 6 hands latter was the bubble(didn't realize it would come so fast). This is not a BBV post I just want to know if this is a push. I have not played a hand in 3 rounds, every opportunity I had to make a push was raised before it got to me. Can I push 88 here or is their too much action behind me? Should I be playing for the bubble here?

If the money REALLY means that much to you, then I think you can fold. From my Sunday Million experiences, the last 100 guys on the bubble go away pretty fast. So I think you could hang on with 9bbs and then become a pushbot after you are ITM.

I would shove but then again, $250 doesn't mean much to me and Im playing to make a deep run.

Shove here is pos EV. If you would even consider folding here just to get through the bubble then just unregister and take the $T. $215 is basically $250 right?

Push here with a lot less. With 87 left, you will be totally blinded down trying to fold into the money.

You say every pot had been raised. If there were aggressive big stacks, I would be looking to resteal with >12xBB or so, and would look to value shove with no folding equity pps, aces, good Ks and the like against late position loose raisers. You really don't want to get blinded down this low, although you shouldn't avoid it at all costs.

Thanks for the replies. I was just doubting myself last night, I busted on this hand but I actually "lost" the tournament on two others. So from late with an aggressive active big stack raising 2.5x utg+2 should I shove with k10s. Would his stats effect this at all? If so What would I be looking for ?/?

Maybe this should be a separate thread. A little more interesting than other hand. What was your position and stack size?

If you were in late position with 12-20xBB, this seems like an OK resteal, given your read, and despite his position.

Seems like you must have had him covered, since you survived, in which case maybe pushing was too much of an overbet.
