A player raised from early position to 1,150 and Jason Alexander made it 3,200 to go from late position. Action folded around and the original raiser who called the three bet.

The flop came {J-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} . After a check from early position, Alexander bet 6,000. His opponent then moved all in for 26,500. After tanking for several minutes, Alexander made the call.

Early Position: {8-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds}
Alexander: {10-Hearts} {10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {J-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} {J-Spades} giving Jason Alexander runner-runner full house to overtake his opponent's flopped flush.

Alexander takes out his opponent and moves to 84,500.

Tens are always the nuts post flop. Never fold them.
07-04-2009 , 04:43 PM
I just know that you might be able to get Patrik Danzer to fold his straight flush. On day 1 his straight flush was no good.

Whoever made this schedule didn't have poker players in mind. A complete day off between day 2 and day 3? WTF! Lol at playing 8 levels in a week. They've officially made this thing way too long. I think it's safe to say there's no need for 4 day 1's either. If they can handle 3k people for the 1500's then they can surely handle 2.5k people for each day 1. It's not that bad for us that don't have anything better to do but for a the casual player it's completely ridiculous. I'm sure a lot of them juggle whether they should plop down the 10k but now they have to pay the 10k plus take a week+ off work. /ramble

Last year there was a day off between Day 1d and Day 2a, and people didn't like that.

Maybe next year there will be three day 1's, and six levels of play each day, and there will be complaints about that.

Its nothing wrong to make 2-3 million more from the poker players , including the delayed final table.

my vpip for day 1 was probably 4%, pretty gross, 15k going into day 2. ( I pretty much lost all 9 hands I played)

Of course they were complaining, that was dumb too. When you only play 2 out of the 1st 6 days you don't need to add another day off to make it 2 out of 7. You get that stretch and then play for 6 straight days. Makes no ****ing sense from a players perspective.

There's probably plenty of PAD footage you can review.

Two years ago they ran a couple more bracelet events after the main event started. That was a lot of fun for the schmoes because so many of the big name bustouts played a $1500 where they normally wouldn't.

Played in day 1a I got an ok table at first then got moved to a pretty tough table. That old guy that limp-call-folds to a cbet was there. I swear theres probably one at almost every table, but not mine, wtf
Costanza was sitting next to nelly one table over from me, snagged a picture with him right before the first break. us: "mind if I grab a quick picture with you?" "yeah if its quick, I gotta piss like a racehorse"
haha
after the change table into blue 49, I was right next to gus hansens table. there was a pretty big crowd around him, and a crew was there with a camera and some microphones. While they're there I get AA in against KK preflop and all the crew moves over to my table, I make a flush when he hits his Ks on the river, so I might possibly have TV time
I lose QQ to KK and another semi big pot to end at ~25k
but I made day 2!

can anyone link me to day 2 starting tables? i'm clearly ******ed and can't find it
07-04-2009 , 06:07 PM
yeah when I said I'm the only one in favor of 4 levels it is completely selfish. I'm quasi homeless and the moment and have my house rented till late July so I don't really care when this thing ends. I completely understand how much it sucks for people that come in just for the ME or people that have been here since April and want to GTFO.
