question for anyone who has experience with this... I have 116k going into day 2b. Im a pretty strong mtter. I play on fulltilt with like a 24 ROI. 160k in prizes like 30k in profit approx in the last year. Im no superstar but solid. i have a friend who wants to buy some of my action. His last offer was 10k for 42% of my action. Any advice on whether or not to take it? Is there a math formula that should dictate what the precise number I should take per percentage point? Thanks, any help is appreciated.

Any info? Did the usual google/hendonmob and found results for seats 1,2,3, and 5. In particular, anyone know if seat 5 is an online player or not? He has quite a bit of live success.

He's ripping you off. You sound at least break even in the ME to me. At this stage of the tournament, 4x your starting stack = 4x$10K so your chips are worth about $39K and his 10K should buy him about 25%. He's trying to rip you off so badly here I wonder if he's even your friend.

Maybe he spotted Gus Hansen headed for a cash game.

and I think 10k for 42% seems reasonable but I wouldn't take it

soooooo started the day with 23k, lost a 50k pot and a 90k pot and I have 106k at dinner. but I'm super tilted cause I just lost the 90k pot. this is a silly game. thank god for dinner break.

42% seems like way too much to me, if you really want to freeroll it I may take 30% but I wouldn't give up any more than that.

Yeah im not like concerned with freerolling or whatever... I was just looking for the right price. I satelitted into this for 1400, so that is not the issue. This is one of my friends from college. Hes not trying to like **** me. He just wants some action. I told him Id post here to see what everyone thought was fair. It seems like mathematically that it is not +ev, which is what I thought. I'd say about 26-28%. Make sure you clarify whether it includes and sponsorships/endorsements/other extras or not. IMO it shouldn't, but just make sure you both know the score, I've seen bitter disagreements over this in the past.

The flop came TT4 and after one player checked O’Dywer led out for 7K. The player to his left raised to 17K and the other players folded. O’Dwyer put in a 3-bet, his opponent moved all in for 59.5K and O’Dwyer snap-called:
