A raising war had already broken out when we came upon Shaun Deeb's table. Deeb put in a reraise to 13,275 from late position and Corwin Cole reraised again to 29,750. After tanking for a minute or so, Deeb moved all in for about 60,000 and Cole snap-called.

Deeb {A-Spades} {9-Clubs}
Cole {A-Hearts} {A-Diamonds}

Deeb turned around and started walking away as soon as he saw the flop come down {J-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {10-Hearts}. The turn was the {K-Hearts}, the river was the {8-Hearts} and Deeb's Main Event was at an end.

Andrew,
Tony Basile FT'ed the APPT in Sydney last year. Didn't play vs. him but there should be coverage on Pokernews about this event so i guess there will be a lot of hands about him etc

Official day 2b chips/seats

Unfortunately, they still show a 19-handed table.

there is only one person in the entire field who could have played it as reported.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was perfectly reported!

He must have lost his card chart and thought that A9 was the best hand in poker.

Anybody know anything? Shulman is the Cardplayer guy, but don't know how he plays. Google search didn't really turn up much for anyone else.

Pokernews rarely gets bet sizes/action right, no reason to think they did here. I'd be very surprised if it was reported correctly.

lost a brutal 57k pot at 250/500 at a table with jeff carris and taylor caby

AA ng vs QQ and AK Q on flop lose my last 500 chips next hand

sooooo frustrating bc there was soooooo much bad play
07-07-2009 , 08:52 PM
the only part wrong with my hand is I started with like 78k
07-07-2009 , 08:53 PM
<3 deeb so much

Been getting text updates from Jason "JDLade" Lademan (I feel the need to say his entire name every time as people have short attention spans; is that wrong?), he was almost eliminated with AK vs. QQ but went runner-runner straight against flopped set, then won another big pot to get up to 72k. Wes ("w33ktight" here) still grinding out the ~20k stack last I heard, but that was a while ago.
