Crazy that it sold out. Why did everyone wait until the last day? So dumb.

This hand would be a LOT funnier if you saw that he mucked TT because you're not shoving without QQ+. Yes, he called the 4k with 6k back and showed me TT as he folded the 5 high flop.

Lol live poker.
Thanks, you may have noticed I was super tight on your button...

I had AQss, a live read, and FE I was wondering what he had.

Ended the day with 15,400. Had a very tough table. Did fold 77 on the river of a 97363 3 diamond board correctly which felt pretty good.

You should start a new thread devoted to your awesomeness.

This is bs. There were about 150 people down there who were turned away. Suit took 75 names on a list (he wouldn't even take mine) said the first five might get in if people unregistered, then walked off. We wanted him to get Jack Effel down there.

As for why people register late- last year it was about 2400 so plenty of room and no expectation that it would be any different this year. Alot of people are having enormous difficulty getting money wired through to them myself included .

Why can't we have alternates or new tables like they did at EPT London this year when no one was turned away? This is a disgusting way to treat players, it's the main event for Gods sake. Why do we put up with this nonsense. Mike Matusow had the right idea.

Enjoy the 4th weekend or play in the biggest tournament of the year?

You don't see NBA teams bitching they have to play on Christmas or football teams complaining they have to play on Thanksgiving.

Seriously, for those that are left out, I feel no pity for you as you have had all this time to wire the money, take an hour or however long it took to preregister for day 1d like say go register on day 1c or 1b or 1a for 1d..

people are so stupid thinking that the casino is in the wrong for not letting them in..

The WSOP staff would say something along the lines of:

Pre-registration
Three other days you could have played.
Plenty of time to register at the WSOP
Tough luck
They have a no alternates policy

etc. etc.

You have only yourself to blame for the predicament you and others are in. Take responsibility for your inaction and lack of planning ahead.

alts wont work because not enough people bust. it was pretty clear 1D was going to be huge this year so anyone who got shut out has no real claim to bitch at harrahs. be mad all you want but its been clear for at least 15hrs this was going to sell out so if you really were that hard up you should have regged then or a week or days before. it sucks that some people arent in that want to be, but there isnt much harrah's can do or did wrong for that matter in this instance.

Agreed

poker is pretty much the only thing where you dont have to register with some time advance and the risk of the event selling out comes with it if you choose to go that way

Just heard rumor from phil Gordon of day 4e at 4pm...

My table is 9-handed fwiw.

I assume you mean day 1e, and that's going to cause its own problems.

Of course, there was a year they added a bracelet event on the fly as well...

If the flop came off in the exact order listed from left-to-right, and the dealer dealt the flop in the conventional manner, the A would be the burn card for the turn, not the 2.

They had 300 tables available for play in the $1k, including fish-hallway tables and a dozen or so outside the permanent poker room. If they set up that many and cap at 2700, 9 handed. Otherwise...
