The cheap ****ty soapy smell in the air ruined a Batali meal for meal. I mean I really hate that smell.

Also Cafe Bellagio>Grand Lux. At least there is no perfume assault at the Bellagio anyway.

bryan how abouts some 700 DS direct qualifiers...

4 max DS... 1st gets package, 2 1720, 3 and 4 get 1000

6 max DS 1st-3 gets packages, 4th gets 1120, 5 and 6 get 1000

these might fill faster than the step 6's are right now...

Obviously there is a critical mass of degenerate mutants who don't notice or don't mind the smell or else the place would do zero business. And then there are people like me who will be willing to deal with it (or wear a mask) if they host something really juicy like this.

Another thing I dislike about the property is all the conventioneers walking around.

who knows, i just met chewy for the first time last night when we've prob been in the same room at least a dozen times in the last 4 yrs. part of the mutant code is to be very mysterious and stay in ur cave.

hmm odd that i never received that message. i expected something like that, as i get email notification when i win $.07 in a freeroll. lol
had to email support to get the exact dates that i'd have the room.
the money instantly showed up in my account though, and i was listed as registered in the tourney lobby, so i wasn't freakin' out that they forgot about me.

i can only assume i didn't receive that message because i won the package totally via freeroll. but it's still counter-intuitive given what i said earlier about emails to notify me of huge ($.07) wins in freerolls.

oh well, i'm just happy to be here ... there ... well, whatever ... i'm happy

I've been there, I hate the smell. It's the reason I've never played a tournament there before. For something as huge as the NAPT, I'll force my olfactory senses take the punishment.

i understand, and shows good sense and willpower for you to overcome something that you don't like 'cause you recognize the equity in playing there.
i wasn't trying to dispute your observation on any personal level obviously, simply relaying my own personal experience playing there.
