I just checked in; I will be playing the $300 tourney on Wednesday and Thursday, as well as the 5,000 NAPT on Saturday.

My question is in regard to the promotional suite rate. I read something about how there was a group code that should be used prior to check in. I didnt use this code, now I am slightly concerned. I understand I can still get the poker rate if I play 6 hours a day, but I'd rather just keep it simple and be granted to poker rate due to the fact that I am playing events most days.

This code was posted a while back by DCARP, I believe: CP02L1 (that's a zero before the 2). $119 wkday $159 wkend if you play at least one event or the 6 hours a day. So it looks like maybe it's the same poker code regardless of event play or regular play. Hope that's helpful.

So ... how about a lil quid pro quo ... I asked a question that hasn't gotten an answer, and since you are actually there already you can help (if you're so inclined). Would you mind asking how many entrants they've gotten so far for the main event? I'm just really curious about the actual in-person sign ups. I leave for Vegas tomorrow, so I'll find out then anyway.

What are the rules as far as having your laptop at the table with you if you make it to Day 2 in order to play online as well?

30K at 50/100. The reason it's 60 minutes on Day 1 is because Stars imposed its EPT structure on the Venetian as a condition of the deal apparently.
