My gf keeps bugging me about what to wear to the party. Is it just normal club attire or do we need to play dress up?

I want to register through the pstars client, but the direct buy-in thing says "restricted", how does one go about doing this?

Absolutely don't dress up anymore than club attire. Half the people there will be in hoodies.

Also want to know more about this. Stars said only way to buyin online is through the use of T$ in which case I have to wear ps logo and all that stuff. I was under the impression that this was just like an EPT where you could just buyin using cash in your account.

Saturday's $256 super turbo lasted just about 2 hours with 454 players. Last night's $117 went 2:15. I'm assuming FTOPS goes at least a little longer, but could be interesting either way.

getting dressed for tao isn't the worst idea if you are planning on staying til the club opens, but thats a horrible idea cus it'll be dead til about midnight

The summer schedule is nearly complete and will be released soon. Yes, it will offer reduced room rates for tourny players.

It was just confirmed 2 days ago that we will be limited to 89 tables...I don't know why we wouldn't be able to do alternates, though. I've been off the last couple of days and nobody mentioned anything like that to me. You all will have to remember that this is a PokerStars structure and if they don't allow alternates, then that's the way it'll be. I'll confirm soon.

In regards to Allen's 'complaint' about 'skipping' the 2500-5000 level...the tournament lasted 13 hours on day one and 11+ on day two. It had 145 players and the average chips never fell below 30 BB's. Can any other $1000 tournaments say that?

I will look into the "feeding of 800-1000 poker players". Worst case scenario is you'll get our normal $10 comp for each day you're in.

Oh, and I'll be wearing my suit to the party, with a hoodie on underneath so I'll fit in!

A 50% jump at the final table was not what I expected after the great day 1 structure. The $2500 5000 level may have added a little more time to the final table, but would have been a smoother jump than going 2k 4k to 3k 6k at such a critical time. There was never a 50% the entire event other than 200 400 to 300 600 and to do that at the final table should be rethought.

Aren't these contradictory?
