Unless he suddenly becomes a cardroom manager or tournament director, take anything Chainsaw says with a huge grain of salt.

hmmmmmmmm I can picture it now.

Chainsaw tournaments will have 100k chips and start at 5/10 with 3 hour levels and last 2 weeks for a 100$ freeze.

I think he meant that, if needed, enough tables can be added to handle 1k+ players. They use the open casino area, so they are not as limited as the WSOP in their convention rooms.

They are already taking over an additional slot area and closing all cash games to get to 89. I asked that question as well.

I was a little annoyed when after playing for 2 days with small jumps the final table in the 1K nl went from 2k 4k to 3k 6k without 2500 5000.

i know at least one tournament director who gives you that level instead of giving you 1000bb for the first 5 hours

http://www.napt.com/docs/NAPT_Veneti...Info_Sheet.pdf

Day 1 starts 10-handed, Day 2 9-handed, Day 3 8-handed, although it can go 8-handed two tables before the money.

http://venetian.com/uploadedFiles/Th...yStructure.pdf

Day 1 starts 10-handed, 9-handed every day after that.

Isn't day 1 sans dinner break? I'm also fantasizing about any reasonable way to play the super turbo.

if you had like 50k chips at 150-300 25a when it starts, it might be +ev to get up and play it on a netbook, you'd miss about 30-45 minutes of that level and get the 15 minute break, and it only takes ~90-100 minutes to win a hyper turbo

it just seems like your hourly would be higher unless your table was ridiculous

plus theres a pretty good chance you'll be out quick and not miss a thing.
