They really are terrible at scheduling... this tourney should have 100% been last thursday...

Anyone there have 5k they'd trade for a 5k Rio chip? my rides bailed and i would rather not have to get two cabs and be late.

pearljammer twitter'd that the final number came in at 260, falling into the range of what was expected.

They scheduled, as a whole, the DSE pretty well (such as the $2k on the day of the WSOP $50k HORSE), but I can't remember if this schedule came out before or after the Bellagio Cup schedule. I'm guessing before because for sure they would've wanted to avoid running up against that Day 1.

still in despite the worst day1 of a tournament ever for me. i had 35k after like 25 min. i raise AA after thay3r limps, bb calls, thay3r calls flop JTdx check to me i lead 700 into like 1200 BB calls thay3r calls turn brick chk chk i bet bb calls thay3r folds riv 4d pairing board too BB jams... he just punted off majority of his chips in a bluff to badbeatninja so i feel like he's just posturing, he prob woulda just c/r a flush draw on the flop anyway. so i call and he turbofistpump mucks. i then raise QQ and bb calls, flop AKxx checked to Q on riv BB leads like 350 i raise to 1850 he calls and i slowly turn 35k into the starting stack over next two levels at stupid tough table full of internet kids.

at 200-400/25 i get moved to new tables and EP lady opens for 1200. i flat QQ and MP lady raises to 3k instantly. folds to me and i debate but can't really find a fold so i ship for about 20k total. she tank-calls me w/ TT and i hold. 40k.

proceed to try to double barrel guy who checks dark to me twice on Q73ddJc board and he hollywoods for literally 5 ****ing minutes before shoving. i was so pissed. i was like "dude, i'm folding if u shove after 60 seconds, 5 minutes, 1 hour... just don't waste time"

so i can't win a pot for rest of day and fold my way down to 13k. it was an epic 400-800 level where i played literally 0% of the hands until the final pot of level. finally folds to my SB, first time all tournament. i have 96hh and ship 13k and aaaaaaaa insta-calls 22 in BB and i turn a 6.

so i'm sitting on 24.5k at 500-1k praying for bdbeatslayer or one of the aggro monkeys to open so i can shove AJo in the CO. then, UTG is this asian player from commerce who is rather tight preflop and makes a sterm raise to 2.6k. i'm literally looking around table going "i'd shove this hand vs everyone else here" and muck. a sd098fa09f0a834509835.

Were you at the table near the front of the poker room with Yang and Chainsaw cracking jokes about wanting to post about getting in a hand with the both of them? Then later ended up at another table with Chainsaw again near the aisle?

And yes, someone folded AKo pre to a Yang AI (didn't see action leading upto it but from the chips out there it looked like Yang 3-bet AI) not before the AKo folder said, "Don't you know internet players don't fold AK?" to which Jerry just continued to sit there.
