i almost can't play without my HUD. It gets better real fast. Just drop a few tables for the time being until you get use to it. It really can dial in your ranges that you are applying to other players.

Dave

Keep the actual HUD simple. VPIP, PFR, postflop aggression and total hands should suffice. I find based on those three stats you can profile well enough to make general assumptions about most important aspects of their game. The big pop-up is nice for guys you have a fair amount of hands on. Some key stats in the popup are steal by position and call steal from the BB, though these aren't as useful against good regs who actually adapt to your ranges. But there are so many bad regs (at the levels I play anyway) who do virtually zero adjusting.

Good advice guys, thanks.

I think I know how to color code, but I'm just not used to using these stats that often. I know what standard TAG stats look like, but I don't think I'm comfortable enough to start rating players via color with these stats...if that makes sense.

Is there anyplace to import like a standard SNG layout, or does that just make me sound really really lazy?

hail to the redskins!! lol just another giant waste of money.... oh and they also singned dante hall, who was cut or waived off his contract from THE FAKIN RAIDDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
41 mill is just ridic, i just hope he takes 1 million of that and help people that have lost their jobs or people that are struggling to pay for their mortages.. Now that would make a difference...
You gotta love the colts tho, you look at the names of priority players they have to sign and you will not recongnize many, other than marvin , whos gone and jeff saturday.....oh wait, their main priortiy was hayden a CB if you didnt know, who got alot of money... i guess hes good...

Dante Hall sucked on the Rams. The rams were almost as bad as the Lions.
02-27-2009 , 04:59 PM
The Raiders have a history of very, very solid personnel moves. Instead of changing their scheme to work with one of (if not the best) CB tandems in the league, they decide to cut Hall because he's poor in a man-to-man system.

41-mill may seem ridic, but he signed for 70 last year. He's a good CB, just not in every type of system.

Edit: DeAngelo Hall, not Dante.

It's also important to filter your stats based on how many players are left at the table in case you didn't know too.

deangelo hall, not dante

I don't even know you anymore.

Yeah I've got them filtered 2-3, 4-6, 7-10.

Not sure if that's optimal or not.

You have the 3 vital ones already, good luck.

It takes a while to get used to the numbers. Once you get familiar with them you'll be looking for more numbers. I currently use 16 stats on my HUD and I frequently look at the pop up stats for other numbers as well. Once you learn what the numbers mean, they are very valuable, and using them becomes second nature.

I only have ~800 hands with Cha, but am up ~3k chips overall.

That's a good number imo.

Cliffs notes of the Cliffs notes on whatever it is Blackize is doing?

Stealing action from boku on his 100 to 10k propbet. Offered to bet on boku before boku had all the action he wanted.

Edit: Still no Vikings fans raging about the Sage Rosenfels deal...weird.

I'm sorry blackize are you indirectly calling me a moron because I'm saying that something you're doing (that is, to me, wrong/immoral/unethical) is immoral and unethical?
I thought I was pretty direct about it

I should probably stay out of it since I don't even know who boku is or what his bet is, but another post said boku's bet wouldn't be on unless he got enough action. If that's true, then if Blackize prevents the bet from being made he can't win - no?

Selective numbers imo. My 8,854 hands with you tell another story

Well, its not my number one choice, but it is a huge improvement over what we've had here since Childress got here. I guess if Sage doent get us farther than last year, maybe they can finally fire Childress.

I would have much rather seen us go after Garcia or Warner, or McNabb as a long shot, but this is better than doing nothing.

Warner is who you should be looking at. I think the other two are system QB's that thrive in the west coast offense. I could be wrong but you guys don't run a west coast offense do you?

Yes it is a west coast, but Childress has figured out a way to make it look mostly ineffective except if AP busts a big one by accident. His offense seems to be designed to get no more than half the yards you need on any given play.
