anyone know a good website to get decent synopses of films? with spoilers and everything. basically i want to read stuff to see if there was anything i missed regarding plot / intepretations of movies that i've already watched

like i watched "doubt" last night and i want to read other peoples opinions / interpretations of what took place and what the ending signified. when i search for stuff i always get general commenttards like imdb, and critic reviews obv. leave out the important plot twists and details

I live in montreal, but should be gone by then as my exams are finishing up. Idk exactly where you're father's estate is, but whenever my parents come to Montreal they stay at teh Chateau Versailles, which is downtown, nice and relatively cheap.

I've played professionally for 10 months with no HUD.

I keep telling myself I'm going to get one, but I'm afraid of issues with trying to run PT2 and 12 games on my mediocre laptop with a HUD running.

Any suggestions? Has to be compatible with PT2 (never figured out how to get my databases imported into PT3).

The only supported hud that I know of for PT2 is Pokerace. Gametime+ is a piece of garbage and I don't know if it's supported at all anymore, and realtime HUD used to be the bomb but that isn't supported anymore either.

edit: realtime builds its own database too, doesn't connect to PT2

No it doesn't!

Get yourself sorted somehow, if it means starting new database from scratch then do it. No point having 4 squillion hands worth of data if you can't use it in game.

So it's pretty much a consensus to ditch PT2, get HEM, and use their HUD? How resource-intensive is it on an average computer?

If you have a semi new computer you should be fine. If you have a 486 Pentium 1 you might be in trouble. Of course, running a ****ty computer and professional poker don't go together either.

I have a mediocre PC (specs posted earlier in **** thread) and HM+Hud run like a dream 12tabling on any site other than FTP (for whatever reason). There's a 15 day trial, worst case scenario you waste an afternoon.

Lol DD, my desktop was built in like 2001 I think. AMD 1700, 512 mb ram...lol.

I can 7 table with HEM running with no problems if I close other applications like aim and firefox.

my computer is old (maybe 6 yrs?) and i've played up to 9 tables with only a small decrease in performance. i know there are things i can do to speed it up, but i'm too lazy to do it since i usually only play 3-4 tables cash.
