To define "losing your keys" I mean the situation of "needing your keys and not knowing where they were, to the extent of:
-permanently losing your keys
-having your keys stolen
-you were not able to unlock a door for more than a day
-you needed to get the locks on your house or car changed as a result

When did the last one of those things happen to you?

For example, if your keys ended up under the couch, and you find them after looking for 10 minutes, that doesn't count. However, if your keys end up under the couch, and you don't find them for 10 days, then that does count.
I'm guessing this has to do with security token stuff. If so I would be the only one to use it, it would stay at and/or attached to my monitor so I would never lose it.

My keys get used by my wife and my kids and get left whereever they drop them. I never know where tf those are.

so, what ya wanna know about, my keys or something only I use. I have never once lost my headphones or my wrist brace I use for work. Does that help?

Seems as though I don't notice a lotta stuff.

Even if they would count it would still be 14 years
Right after i crashed my bobby car right into the fence of our neighbors (I'll admit that a small amount of high proof apple juice was involved), my parents took my keys and told me that i would get them back when i learned what it means to be responsible.

its a fair question bones, and i know i have a bad history on the stt forum but i assure u i have matured GREATLY in 2-3 years since posting out here and im hoping that you will see my question as genuine curiosity and not being an ass.

now to your question, i think its a very good one. i play both HUSNG and cash but i do play more HUSNG than cash. My reason for doing so is that i've spent so much time studying HUSNG and its still very profitable. I have a full time demanding career and its harder for me to transition across games because im not a full timer and I know a ton about HUSNG, and i actually think that for me personally HUSNG is more profitable than cash because cash takes more skill and emotional/personal commitment to the game than i have time for.

Am i completely off in left field that STT tournies have become the least profitable form of poker?

Insert stt for husng and re-read. It should make sense. Most people who still play sngs are pretty good at it and not all that interested or comfortable in learning a new form of poker. There is still money to be made, especially in rb and sne bonuses. Some people like the excitement and finality of the bubble, itm, and hu parts of sngs that you just can't get from cash games.

You have your reasons for playing husngs instead of hu cash. Is it that hard to believe that others have similar reasons for playing stts?

Hardly anyone in STTF that was playing STTs when I started is still playing them. One of the guys who is has a different Porsche Carrera for every day of the week.

Also, Indy, not that I ever thought that you were that bad, but weren't you like older, with a real job, a house, maybe family when you were so immature a couple years ago?

bones, its not hard for me to believe your reasoning as long as stts are still reasonably profitable. if i thought that i'd make 2x or 3x what i currently make at cash, i'd never touch another husng.

yah i mean you do make sense, and from what you're saying stts are somehow still profitable. i just thought that they were so mechanical and well understood that they couldnt be very profitable anymore.

yes to all your questions, im still immature on the forums, but nothing like i used to be. i spouted too much in the past and regret it, and took out my personal struggles on the forum too much.

but you live and learn, i've had a lot of trials that transformed who i am as a person, and through studying hard at poker i made a lot of cash and realized how wrong i was in lots of spots.

its all good, live and learn.

Indy,

I still play sngs from time to time. I generally end up playing them when in a bad mood, distracted about other things, or tired but need to get some hours in. When I'm feeling good and playing my A game I play other things, but the drop off between my A and C game at hu and 6max plo is gigantic compared to the drop off between my A and C game at sngs.

why do you think that?
I think they're very profitable and also know some players playing them, and intuitively it doesn't make sense that headsup(in whatever way) would ever be the least profitable form once you're doing well?!

Josem, since I've moved out from my parents which was in 2004, I've forgotten my keys in my room three times.
They've never been stolen, I've never lost them anywhere, just locking myself out occurred.
I wonder whether that's a beat or a brag.
You work for pokerstars or something, cause someone associated that with the token thing(which I think is the best thing to happen to poker right now, so many german players have been hacked lately)?

Yeah sence he does. I've personally never left my keys anywhere, ever. Mostly because I have random OCDness and part of that includes patting myself down to see if i have my keys, phone, and wallet probably 30x a day.

Also when I leave my place I always use only the deadbolt which means I can't lock myself out. My jeep has a clicker so I don't lock my car from the inside.

If any of you have became 25nl to 100nl cash grinders on ftp (or stars), hit a brotha up if you want to discuss hands/theory etc.

My A4 definitely held vs. his J4s - if it had been my AJ to his A4, I can almost guarantee it would have not, but I'm sure > 50% of SNG grinders feel that way...

They're far too similar for someone to be decent at one and terrible at the other. Unless of course your edge comes from stalling every hand of a HUSNG until your opponent quits.

What if one had solid reading comprehension and could recognize the ironic similarities between my post and Indy's previous post? Would that person get the same from this topic thread as someone who was unable to draw parallels between the two situations and recognize that my post really had nothing to do with husngs?

Re: *** Official STTf February kakkendaaliluukku Thread - No lame BBV ***

Its all pretty simple really.
Despite all the talk of SNGs getting tougher and being solved, every time a solid SNG grinder leaves for greener poker pastures there is money sitting out there waiting to be won by whoever sits in their place at the next SNG.

Its not like every SNG is full of spacegravys, Newt Buggs, and gigabets. They move on and there are still fish donating to sngs. As long as someone is donking around in a SNG, there will be people grinding a living out of them.

I don't see how they are similar at all.

One starts with 75bb (usually) and the other is 100 and one changes blinds while the other doesn't.
