I'm going to go buy a phone in a little bit. Going to get an all new provider (had metropcs a local company).

I'd like to get an iPhone, but looks like if I try to get the phone without signing to ATT it's going to cost me like $800.
Do I just suck it up and sign to ATT?
Do I go with a diff company and just buy the iPhone for $800
or do I just not get the iPhone?

Make the decision for me STTF... GO!

If anyone wants to go on a date that hasn't gone on sale yet (like the 2nd NYC show I just booked) go to the page on tickemaster for that date and use the presale promo code SUGALUMPS

I got pre-sale tickets this way up in the front for $45, while the cheapest available for the 1st NYC show that went on sale today were $88.

I'm too lazy to go looking around and trying to find a really good deal + I'm without a phone at the moment (accidentally broke mine) and I'm in a hurry. But I guess I'll go looking.

Just went to the ATT store, they want me to put $750 down, in addition to paying the $300 (+tax) for the phone. So that looks like a no go.
I'm probably going to have to piggy-back onto a friends family plan if I want an iPhone.

the thing about ATT/apple contracts is that once you sign up for one, they got your testicles for life. so if you really want the iphone, you gotta be prepared for that

i have an older blackberry, an 8700, ive been trying to sell if youre interested. unlocked so itll work with any service provider.

Moving back to lovely OH at the end of the month, and don't want to try to move furniture. Trying to sell my Ikea bed set...got the frame and mattress for like $750 total 6 months ago. Is there any chance I get $300 for it on Craigslist? I never use the site, but I figure it's pretty big in NYC.

craigslist is great, I've bought/sold a bunch on there with good success. Just be prepared to deal with a certain level of hassle and maybe 30% no-show rate. Also, don't post without pics if you want a lot of responses.
