Who ARE these guys? Arizona Men's Basketball team.

On a 7 game winning streak, downing USC on Thursday and trouncing UCLA (WhoCLA???) today.

Most fun an announcer can have these past two games.....

a good amount of the reg pros would be the fish in this event - its often hard to tell if they gave their acc to random friends to play (given they get in free), just don't care and treat it as a freeroll and punt, or just suck. The first few times i played w/ live pros i'd seen on TV i was shocked at how many ridic fundemental leaks they had - by now im somewhat used to it

Use this guys strategy:

And I still small ball expertly(even bluffing early on the uncordy flops) to win back my limps which are used in hopes of doubling up and stacking off a novice early,
slanting the odds even more in my favor after the game even begun. 8 tbales I can still employ my strategy. I was 6-tabling for a year but 8-tabling I can handle. I play the regular not the turbo push fest. I have big edge in the early rounds, so what am I supposed to do?

I finished 13th on one, which was unbelievable considering I was BE for the month until Weds lulz.

I think it's usually in your account by tomorrow morning at the latest.

Edit:

Just checked my pokerstars e-mails. Every time I've made leaderboard I get the confirmation e-mail by 10 AM Monday.

Ugh either the Windows update or Stars update screwed up my ability to get that little preview window of the item when I scroll over an item in my tool bar on the bottom of the screen (does anyone have a clue what I'm talking about?) If for some reason a game doesn't pop to the front when I'm multitabling, I could scroll the bottom of the screen and see which games it was my turn to act on. Or I could scroll every once in a while and make sure I wasn't sitting out any games without having to actually bring every window to the front.

That tilts me Stupid computers.

This could not be more accurate. It is equal parts mindblowing and frusterating that some of these guys have 100% rb/hourly/freerolls into huge events with some of the obvious mistakes they make - but keeping those things in mind, it is also easy to see how they dont have incentive to get better if they are shipping __ K a month to break even
02-15-2009 , 03:55 PM
Which really makes you wonder what Fiery was thinking risking all that. Folly of youth I guess.

Stars is this close || to breaking in half. Seriously. 250k online and the games are running so awful it's borderline unplayable. I think I'm done after this set.
02-15-2009 , 05:35 PM
dave, what exactly is happening? 250k online is nice to see imo.
02-15-2009 , 06:02 PM
Well Stars is doing their 25 billionth hand promo, and giving away like 300-750 bucks to the winner of each milestone hand (every 1 millionth hand) and cash to everyone else at the table. So obviously it's driving traffic to the cash games.

But all games are affected because the servers still can't handle this volume. So I'm getting like a 2-3 second lag after every decision playing SNG's. I only 12 table, but it's still definitely affecting my game by just being all around annoying/frustrating
