The songs are first class. "Buisness Time" a favourite of mine.

The sit com bits in between can get a little annoying for me. The plot pretty contrived to fit around the songs and lots of the dialogue is more tedious than funny.

Still well worth it though.

I tried to recommend Skins last year and was roundly ignored. The new series is just horrible imo btw.

I just watched a milestone hand on stars. It's a heads up 1/2 game, $40 stacks, moderator pauses play and explains the situation, turns off observer chat etc. Play resumes, SB open folds!!! LOL.

yeah, they were from the same city. I think they probably knew each other and had a deal worked out

alot of players collude and stars doesn't do anything about that.

There are a bunch of HU tables with the same players on sit out till the next milestone nears and then BTN raises and BB folds all the time till the milestone hand was hit and they go on sitout again.

Yeah I agree I just finished watching first season and it's so good.
Really? I thought first 2 eps of new season were rubbish but it's really getting going now. The music in this seasons has been different class.
I'm in love with the lesbian redhead, alltho that may be a little illegal.

I love Flight of the Conchords a lot a lot. The show is very funny, and not just the songs imo I like the plots as well. However, the second season hasn't been as good for me. It's still funny, but I don't like Murray and the other side cast members being involved in the songs.

I can't wait to see them in April here at Radio City.

My NYC buddies: Nobody has offered to purchase my furniture for my big move, even when I dropped the price to "first offer" on craigslist lol. This leaves me with the option of dumping it on the sidewalk, or trying to get it donated.


What places will pick up a bed frame, mattress, desk, chair, and crappy dresser for free and give me a tax write-off?

I can't drop it off anywhere because all I have is a little sedan.

Just leave it on the curb. You'll make about $20 in tax writeoffs and you have to file a different way or something. I'm pretty fuzzy, but I just know I donated $1k cash to the haight asbury free clinic on year, had a receipt, and it still wasn't worth it to try to write it off. And my uncle is a CPA who does my taxes.

Thanks for asking around. It's Ikea furniture, which means it's not super nice or anything...but it's still in great shape. Especially a queen size mattress, can't believe nobody is interested in that. I put it up on CL for first offer and still have gotten nothing.

I guess the free section is the best bet, since a lot of these donation places want like 2 week's notice and I want to be out a week from today. A lot of them also don't want mattresses (I'm guessing bed bug issues in NYC).

Frankly, I just want to be done with this crap. I want it gone so I can leeeeave. I figured helping out a non-profit would be nice, but that might not be an option at this point.
