The classic answer would be (of course), Butter your aces, shove the phone all-in and re-charge the toast.....

movieman,
Disagree about Intolerable Cruelty. I think it is a really good romantic comedy with a slightly darker tone, however it is still a romantic comedy. I was entertained while watching it, but not blown away or anything.

Just finished The Man Who Wasn't There, from the opening credits, I loved how it was shot. I have started paying more attention to stuff like this, but I love they really did a great job using shadows and contrast throughout the whole movie. It seemed like every other scene I was saying, wow that is an incredible shot. They kept very true to the genre and executed it very well, of course the acting was great as well, but it didn't quite suck me in in the same way as some of their other movies. I think I put it above Barton Fink, but still below Hudsucker, which I think I rank much higher than average.

Anyone who has "[x] Searching jobs" as a location should definitely come to LA to install solar power.

Amazing stuff. I especially liked this one:

(at the age of 61) "Repeating his performance of 21 years earlier, Jack again swam the entire length of the Golden Gate Bridge, underwater and handcuffed, but this time he was shackled and towed a 1,000 pound boat. "

Well I started 8-tabling. They say your ROI drops 1 or 2 points every table you ad on, but I still play my marginal hands early and over betting the nutters (why not)- hoping to stack off a novice with his top pair jack kicker. And I still small ball expertly(even bluffing early on the uncordy flops) to win back my limps which are used in hopes of doubling up and stacking off a novice early,
slanting the odds even more in my favor after the game even begun. 8 tbales I can still employ my strategy. I was 6-tabling for a year but 8-tabling I can handle. I play the regular not the turbo push fest. I have big edge in the early rounds, so what am I supposed to do?

hi duvalin,

Is there a question somewhere in your description of completely non-standard strat? Do you mean "can't" everywhere you say "can"? FYI almost everyone here plays what you describe as "push fests."

Hi beerocart.

I had a friend that took special ed classes in grade school and he was actually a really bright kid in some areas. So it is nothing to be ashamed of.

If you take a look at my post you will see a question in the last sentence.

Reading comprehension is a sign of education not intelligence. Just remember that.

Oh p.s. I saw a guy that looked like Sippin today at the gym and almost dry humped him on the stairclimber. Then I realized that A) Sippin is in Hawaii, and B) he doesn't live in NYC even when he's not on vacation

Since you've got some extra chips from your early advantage you should probably do more of the same. Keep limping, playing small ball, and overbetting the nutters. (why not indeed?)

OK OK ez now everyone. I simply made an innocent post and got a snide reply. I was minding my own business just making an update in the monthly stt thread and then whamo. Should I really be held at fault here? And then beerocrat calls a publsihed poet a bad writer? now now, my fellow sngr's. This is no way to treat a man. To all those lurkers looking on it is quite clear that I was not the one to start this. And then I am called a jerk and a troll?

Not fair.
Not fair at all.

If your edge comes from the deeper stacked early levels just learn to play cash games

Re: *** Official STTf February kakkendaaliluukku Thread - No lame BBV ***

So because someone is published, they are a good writer?

Not true.

Not true at all.

Seriously, did you mean to say you "can't" handle it with 8 tables? Otherwise, I still don't understand your question, because according to you everything is working just dandy. Almost everything you describe is atypical SNG strategy.

Sorry for my initial response, but you took it to another level by calling me uneducated and "special ed"; drop the innocent bystander act.

Ohhhh it was just a blog post with a rhetorical question on the end. I get it.

Also, I was published for an essay I wrote in college on fad diets or some **** and I'm a god damn idiot.

Edit:

EEhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. It'll be nice to have someone who can create their own shots. (Traded to Raps).

I didn't have the benefit of reading beerocrats reply unedited. But, I've read your reply. Yes, you seem to be a jerk. Not only did your original post sound arrogant, it also seemed to have no point except to brag? The question you posed was way too vague for it to have any meaning to anyone except maybe deep in that amazing poet head of yours. Then you follow it up with an over the top personal attack.

Maybe it's not completely fair, but based on the tone of both your post you'll get over it. You sound like a guy that is pretty damn sure you're the best there is, and congrats on that.
