Burn After Reading: pretty boring

However, I thought Wanted was pretty sweet.

Now no one will listen to me.

What if you run into AA on the bubble, but end up binking the pot?

Would you still kill yourself, or live on as a dirty liar?

I laughed in like two scenes tops.

Also, trying to resolve a small argument.

person (a). is playing NL50 and is in a pot where after the villain shoves the pot is $60, and the call for person (a). would be $26.
Person (a). implies to person (b). that he is seriously considering folding - person (b). says he thinks (a). should call and he'll go half on the call ($13).
Person (a). agrees, calls, and wins the pot.

How much money does person (b). get?
How ever much they agreed to. We see these type questions all the time, people really should stop enter agreements whereby they don't really know wtf they are agreeing to. It be dumb for person (b) to have not asked for half of the entire pot, because it's going to be lost if (a) does not make the call.

At least we know where we stand

I also just watched slumdog. I liked it, certainly worth watching, but I don't really understand the level of hype it's getting. It must be a pretty dry award field this year.

I was a little disappointed with this movie too. Maybe it was the hype. Maybe when I moved is promoted as being hilarious I expected a different kind of humour. I agree the end scene, and the way the feds behaved in general, was very funny. Pitt's character was also very funny.

what is this binking you speak off and HOW do you get the skills to do it?

I usually sacrifice a healthy goat upon the altar of bink, and it sorts things out for a while.

Before last May I had won 1 tourney outright that was bigger then a sng which was a 180 DSO to the main event. I was also was on my biggest cash game downswong and was probably going to have to get backed for the wsop. Cue win in the stars 1k, some wsop thing and the Betfair Sunday tourney. That was fun

Agree with this, but I do want to watch it again since I feel like I could have missed a lot the first time

It's really odd to me how dreams react instantly to things happening ATM IRL.

Last night I had a dream some dog kept biting my hand and I was like wtf is with this dog. It wasn't breaking the skin but it stung and I liked the owner so I was trying to be nice about it - then I wake up and I'm sleeping on my arm all wrong so it's pins and needles in the same hand. Was there even a dog in the dream before my hand was hurting IRL or was it just what my brain did to rationalize the stinging in my hand? Do I make stuff like that up IRL to rationalize what doesn't fit?

I DON'T KNOW BUT IT'S CRAZY.

Can someone plz slap me the next time I decide to load up a set at 7AM EST. Playing against a sh*tload of nitty Euros is hugely -EV imo. No offense if you are one of the said nitty Euros of course.

STTers do some risk analysis for me:

I have an '03 Cavalier worth about $5,000 blue book. Insurance premium for comprehensive coverage is $700 for six months, $1400 a year. PLPD coverage is $300. Is the comprehensive worth considering?

ive found games to be relatively soft at like 6am or so EST time. you get some nitty europeans and some tired west coast lagtards that are nearing the ends of their sets.

I get both the poker dreams, and annoying as sh-t school dreams (esp. b/c I haven't taken a class in 8 years) where I dream I slacked off/didn't go to class all semester, and now I'm embarassed to start showing up the last week before the final b/c everyone is going to be like "Who DF is this guy?", but I'm not going to pass/get my diploma unless I confront the situation head on/study day and night, and it all becomes a clusterf-ck. I wake up feeling stressed and pissed off at myself, and it takes a few seconds to realize I'm back in the real world, and another minute+ to fully grasp that I should have no such feelings b/c...I'm back in the real world and my dream-land fiasco doesn't carry over to reality-land.

And I say "diploma," because sometimes my dream is about HIGH SCHOOL (though somehow I'm in a weird time warp where I've already gone forward and graduated college (though 18ish still - maybe I time travelled back in time after doing so) and wondering if not passing high school is going to have bad negative consequences). True story, I once showed up for a final and the teacher didn't believe I was in her class since I'd never been once. Ahh College.

I still get these and I haven't taken a class since 1992. It might be telling though that in my dreams my biggest ****up is forgetting to drop the class, and when it comes time to go to at least try to save the situation, I can never even find the room. Definitely a complete cluster****. Everything I try to do just gets me more and more lost, and at some point I usually realize I'm in a university hallway in my underwear.

I wonder why of all the shared dream-themes, this seems to be ubiquitous and persistent so many years later, among ANYONE who went to college? The only other dream that common I can think of is table-waiting dreams - but even those seem to wear off after 5-10 years. I guess I still get one every now and then, but not as common as the lost class scenario.

I get this one sometimes, which is especially funny because I graduated college but didn't graduate HS. At some point in the dream I'm usually like "WTF I don't need this... I'm outta here."

It's a shame they don't anything for SNG players with this 25 billionth hand promo on Stars. Other than the deposit bonus.

Oh well. Siiigh.

I dream having to go back to high school after already graduating because I missed a class or something. I have that dream about once a week, which is weird because I've never had a single dream about college.
