I can't understand how the No1 Business in his sector can't provide ideal playing conditions at all time. Just go build a damn new arena and filled it with A1 servers and have it protected by the PokerStars Police forces.

I have always thought this too. It's not like they don't have the money right? WTF Buy some more servers PS.

fwiw this has happened at every site I've played where the # of players has gone up alot. I'm sure they started working on it a few weeks ago when the problem started. You cant put together a new, flawless server farm and combine it with the rest overnight.

It will eventually get fixed, just like party's and fulltilts did eventually.

I'm not saying you can't bitch and moan, feel free. I'm just saying it won't do any good. They figured out there's a problem a while ago.

In the past Stars lag has been at times of really high traffic, typically Sundays with 200k players online. Today the lag was terrible, I couldn't even log on. And there were only 126k players online while I've seen Stars running smoothly at up to 145k players.

So I'm curious to know what is the cause of today's problems since it doesn't seem to be high traffic.

I remember hearing that they got live SNG's somewhere Vegas. Does anybody know where? I am sure they have them in more then one place but any spots people like better then others?

Also don't play SNGs live unless they're super soft for high stakes(1k sats to the WSOP are the only things I know of that fit this bill). They hardly run, if they do run it's like a 50 dollar game, and they pay 2 places

It's been a couple of years, but I won a Ceasar's SNG and I think a bunch of STTF doods were in another one the next day. Too many beers between then and now to remember exactly though.

I get the feeling the Christian Bale thing happens semi frequently on sets. Not that excuses him, but if you aren't watching Christian Bale movies there are prob tons of other movies you shouldn't be watching ever again.

meh, just delt with Party for so long it's hard to get me worked up. You remember when party first passed 15k players on line and would only open one sng at a time and we all had to sit there refreashing the lobby like crazy to try and be the first 10 to get to the table?

Took them over a month to fix it
