No im not out of my mind, its called running bad, you cant expect to win everyday of your poker "career" deal with it or quit the game.

My advice, turn off your computer go for a walk and hit the tables again tomorrow

What's wrong with you?

You're acting as if I don't know all of that.

I'm not just running bad, I'm running worse than you will ever think is possible - for an extended period of time.

Please don't talk to me as if I don't understand variance.

And why on earth would I stop playing? Or take advice from...you?

In my databases, I have play from 27s and 38s from the months of:

March 06
August 06
January 07
February 07
November 07
December 07
August 08
September 08
October 08
July 09
August 09

During 06-08, more than 2000 tournies were played. So far in 2009, that number is smaller than 1000.

Looking at a list of my worst days ever at these stakes, the following entries can be found in just the past few days:

1st -$535 Aug 18th
2nd -$404.50 Aug 10th
5th -$353.50 Aug 16th
6th -$351 Aug 9th

But to be fair, I've also had my best and 9th best day during this stretch

How can you even figure out how to log on to a forum?

It's variance. I know how variance works. It's just that very few people even know someone who's had it as hard as I have.

You seem unwilling to understand the magnitude of my horror.

Btw, the worst beat of all is probably that I'm the runaway chip count leader in this thread.

Sorry for using it as a personal toilet blog lately. But in my selfish mind, just tossing the numbers around and working with wording the downswing has helped a bit with the therapeutic side of things.

And also, with the huge number of people who hate me, I'm probably being amusing as hell.

lol ...we get it, you ran bad for a while. Just because you never experienced variance like you currently are, doesn't mean many many many other players haven't gone through the same thing and worse. When you come in here and act like nobody has ever ran like you, what do you expect peoples reaction to be?

And I have regular close to $500 losses in 2 sets of $16 games!!!! I switched to some 45s in my last set cos it's wot I do when I run like a c**t and finished up thanks to winning one and FTing quite a few. However despite that, I have shoved into 99-AA AQs-AK wot feels like around 75 times today. Which is fine..these things happen. To most regs it happens like once a YEAR! I get these days monthly easily and inbetween, days on end of mindless piss boring break even. Then one hot day to make up for it and that's ya ****** lot! OH thanks lord you're realy smiling down on me today/****ting in my mouth!!!!

AnfieldRoad,
FWIW this is coming from someone who is definitely running just as bad or worse than you.

I believe I had 5x 20 OOTM in like 1.5-2k sample, 2x 20-OOTM in 100 game sample, a 30 OOTM that I posted in here. Still have been running insanely bad, $60's and $119's, and was beating the games very well for ~8k games.

Just try to control yourself, getting that upset can't be doing anything but hurting your game.

Edit: yeah listen to MJCACE too, he's definitely one of those people that's ran as bad or worse than you.

re-edit: sputum, what's up? do you remember me? I'm almost positive you're the guy that staked me for a $11 MTT when I was playing $5 sngs.
