I really enjoy the early 33c and think a lot of others, 33c stars in a good time, dont think every tournament should have a lot of entrys, around that u already have 109FO, 55FO, b33 b44 bb27, 27t KO, 33t 6max, if you start 15min early u can late reg the bb33.

So please, for god sake, do not change the 33c, even with a lot of good tournaments around, 33c run everyday w over 1k up top early in the morning.

btw, its funny to play w regs sometimes, think if u guys change that tournament i will feel like the top HS grinders missing the 109q 55r and etc.

+1

+ the joke with the bolded payout is h4h starts at 8 and stops at 7

I can't image who likes the second one better. Should be a no brainer to use the first one, but apparently someone from PS thinks that its cool to get 2$ if you finish in 8th place.

I don't see it being changed, their goal is to distribute prizepools to as many people are possible

I voted with my feet and quit playing satellites on stars. Luke's not changing his mind on the payouts.

Same satellite today got 37 entries Prizepool = $111 entries, 4 entries to $27, 5th gets $3.00 but info today is showing 4 places paid

I'm playing that satellite so I can play the target event. If I had finished 4th and if I was getting $18 or more, I would have still played the target event($27), but new payout paid me only $5.50, there's no way I'm going to play that event. I can understand their point of view to pay more places, but paying $27 and then straight $5.50 is BS. I'd have even preferred:

1-3 $27
4th $15
5th $9

Host: So what you're saying then I guess if I.. please correct me if I understand this wrong is that, if you have a certain fpp balance depending on what you said, you shouldn't necesarrily actually make sure to redeem them all before december 31st actually like read the email and make sure you know what your options are.. email is sort of you know the email that you sent out will sort of help people make better decisions is to serve them how to maximise their rewards?

Matthew: That's correct, I mean the best way to get maximum value is to buy tournament tickets or if you're supernova buy a cash bonus but all players well not all players silverstars players plus can get the tournament tickets and get the best value. If you're one of the players who buys a $10 bonus, then I recommend DONT do it and wait until January and I'll take your 1000 points, I'm gonna give you 200 star coins extra, so you'll have 1200 star coins .. use that 1000 of those to get your $10 bonus and then you'll have 200 stars coins extra in your account.

The deep stack tourneys are too deep IMO. I think the super tuesday structure would be a perfect fit for them.

Between 08:30 ET and 09:30 ET there is no midstake turbo MTT available. Would you mind adding something? 44 6max turbo would be nice

I've seen the 14:30 CET 22$ Deepstack (3.5K, made 4.5K) took about 7 hours to play down to 7 handed, and averagestack was ~40bb.
I think thecurrent deepstack-structure is perfect for this very tournament...Though, if they get more than 300 players, like the 5,50$ ones, I would agree that the ST structure might be better, since +8 hours for a 3 digit field is really a bit long, I agree

plz fix the weekender wtf, what a collosal **** up this tournament is. make it a proper 2-day or just make it 1-day. this just doesn't make any sense.

Less angry edit:
So
1) or give it a sick structure like 25 too 30m blinds and make reg like whole saturday; possibly until start day 2. possibly a re-entry. think that would be fine for this bird. move SKO back to original time.
2) Keep it like this; make it one day tournament.

Just moving this and SKO one hour isn't going to fix this. It needs a revamp or it will pbb die.

3) SKO 19:00 CET, Weekender 20:00 CET same structure, play until itm or a fixed level. not until 1 table from itm.

I really don't think the problem is that you think it is. There just aren't people logging on for a slow $530 bird on Saturday. Weekender would do pretty well at a $109 buyin, but you probably don't want to hear that.

Just gotta accept that it's a small tournament with a limited playerbase.

Don't get me wrong, i don't mind a small field.
But the structure isn't superb. It's starts super early. And the field is small. We stop @ approx 22:15 with 32 left, with 24 itm. This scores a zero on the makes sense meter.

Ok if it failed and there aren't enough players, but no need in keeping it 2-day then. just play it out on saturday. i mean 320 SKO runs until deep into the night now and this stops @ 22:15 lol

edit: it's done now after 4h30 of play and either way al my ideas would boost playerspool without canabalizing to much from other tournaments pbb. i mean i doesn;t have to get 1k runners every week, but this feels like trying to get the least participation lol
12-12-2015 , 05:57 PM
Yea man I hear ya. I think, with how many people were asking for a bigger game and bigger saturdays, that the expectation was for this to be 300-500 players. The structure makes a lot of sense at those field sizes.

But here we are. def worth looking at again after the holidays to see what can be done.

I stopped playing on PS and now just play live, but if two 109$ 3- and 2-day events would start on Friday or Saturday, I would definintely start playing on PS again. I play up to 500 buy-ins live, but those have small fields where a final-table is so much more likely.

How about a Friday 109$ 3-day NLHE, and a Saturday 109$ 2-day event?

Definitely take out ~5$ of each buy-in for a jackpots for the first player who final-tables both of them within the same weekend for 100%, our within 2 weeks for 50% or so, since this would ofc motivate us to pla´n our whole weekend around these 2 MTT's, and that's ofc nice for you guys, isn't it?

And at this buy-in level, I think there is a perfect ratio in between people who can afford to play them, and the total prizepool that can be reached.

Friday:
20:00 CET = 100+10*+10$ NLHE 3-day event (day 1 ends bubble, day 2 final-table bubble)

Saturday:
18:00 = Day 2 of Friday-event
20:00 CET = 100+10*+10$ NLHE 2-day event (day 1 ends with 27 players left)

Sunday:20:00 = Start of both final days

The 10% jackpot will quickly get big, maybe won once early on when field-sizes are still in the 3-figures, but once it starts to build up, the equity of these two tournaments together ofc goes up each week, and inevitably, field-sizes will follow.

*10$ This is for the jackpot, of which anyone who final tables these two MTT's at the same weekend will win 80%. Or 60% of it, if he does it over two weekends, to give all players who only final-tabled one of them another shot next weekend.

It will inevitably have to get bigger while the jackpot grows, no matter how small it starts, and since 80% max can be won of the jackpot, the other 20% of the currently áccumulated jackkpot-money will be put in a freeroll short before christmas each year, and a ticket to this freeroll will be given to anyone who has played both 109$ events at least once over the last 12 months. Ofc a superflat pay-out-structure with 5$ fór every bust up to top 10%, for those who miss it and are broke, to e-mail them and egt them back into action

Merry Christmas, folks

So many times this has happened with me - I get moved to a new table and often my first hand gets folded immediately as I'm shown 'sitting out' even though I'm not? It happens very quickly and this happens only when I'm UTG. Anybody else faced this issue?

insane lag for the past hour. on a mac. 3 tabling and unplayable

Strange, never occurred for me.

i've noticed something similar a few times when late registering and getting seated utg. deals you in and auto folds before you get a chance to act. very rarely though, and never noticed when changing tables. will keep an eye out.
