Nah, 8 is the bomb! But I'm fine with 9.The start of death of sng poker was when sites started to go to 10 man.

So now that I am ranting and raving in the 2p2 meeting thread in internet poker forum, Is kill sng's promotion Battle of the Planets going bye bye soon?

Also what is going on with the blind structure's and are they going to be changed sometime this decade?

Oh ya I have been asking players in some of the games I play at the micro's (if you want to hire me stars I might be available ) and am surprised by the answers so far, for all you "reg's" who think all the "fish" want faster games that is not 100% the case. I asked if they liked all these breaks in 1 game ( mtt sng's) and this structure and how long games take and so far the majority is yes as multiple breaks gives them a chance to get a beer, piss etc etc.

Now I just started doing this so ya not a good sample size and I know players on the same games that want to get the games over with and heads up being to long as well.

We all made it to the middle of March, so it’s time for another end-of-the week post.

No final decision has been made on the Battle of the Planets.

Regarding blind structure, I have just made a post here.

These are not suggestions we receive very often. At the moment we have no plans to offer such tournaments, but we may reconsider if there are a lot more players asking.

Steps are part of the satellite program, and as such this topic belongs in the MTT thread.

I’ll be back in the thread sometime between next Friday and next Sunday.

Get rid of Battle of the Planets and give something back to us volume players vs players who run on a bingo spree.

Also allow us to purchase SNG tickets vs having to Satty into **** tourneys and un/regging.

Its kinda weird that mtt players can redeem their fpps at 0.0157-0.016 (~SN bonus rates) for years now, the same rate is even for 11$ storm.

adding tickets to the shop (at that fpp value) looks like a no brainer. When i think about it it seems like the best way to boost sng ecosystem, better than any mix of new promos.

Since you guys 'standarised' tournament buyins couple years back, how hard can it be to add 3.5$ 7$ 15$ 30$ 60$ 100$ 200$ tickets to the shop, that can be redeemed at any type of sng with that buyin. Those are fpps spent to boost liquidity of the games and include 'paying' additional rake

A 'Skip Level' checkbox on STTs, which only operates if everyone has it ticked at the time a level change happens. (If one player has it unticked then the game proceeds as normal).

Thinking of those STTs where the final 3 (and ITM) commences at 25/50 with $4K stacks.
So for example if everyone has it ticked at blind change time then 50/100 is skipped and 75/150 becomes the next level.

No real downside I can see as if players don't like it they can decide to never tick it so it doesn't apply to their games.

Fix the steps, some BI's say top 6 paid (in information tab) while it is 4 or 5. I also e-mailed about this but doesn't seem like you guys did a whole lot about it. From the top of my head its the Step E that's like that or F (not sure).

But quite annoying and unprofessional.

Just a few questions from the previous week to address:

If we were to break down the promotion into so many very small leaderboards, the prizes would end up being quite small as well. In our experience, such small prizes aren't very interesting to most players.

I have passed your suggestion on to the VIP Club team.

This is an interesting suggestion, but we haven’t seen others mention it before. Is this something that many of you would like to see implemented?
