um what? Any game can be colluded in for the sake of winning BoTP. I could tell another regular easily that I will ship him first prize money just let me win if I was close. I don't of course. if anything there would be less collusion as chat is turned off on the bubble in 50/50s.

Yes I know collusion exists in every format, but in 5050s it would be the easiest to collude if you have a good score going without it being suspicious. Maybe I'm wrong and that is not the reason though .

EDIT: maybe a bit more clear: DON/5050s are the format that attract the most collusion, so maybe PS doesn't like giving more incentive to collude.

i mean just axing 5050s completely will give liquidity, possible to make a new format with a new blind structure and many more. Also f50s are not real pokers,

edit: that being said, i think u can just add 5050s to bop but not give 100 points in total for a 5050. just look at 18mans, they also are added at bop with less points total then a 9man in relation are. there is a sweetspot to be found that all formats simulate to the same possible outcomes low and high, imo

I dont think F50s are not included in the BOP because of potential collusion, i think its just PS being too lazy to come up with a solution. I agree with Thrash when he says it would be just as easy to collude in F50s as it would be in other formats for the sake of BOP. In fact, its prob easier in normal games that go HU, because there are no other players at the table to observe the collusion. But i do also agree that implicit collusion in general is easier in F50s.

If PS were so worried with collusion in F50s with BOP or otherwise in general, then why offer the format at all? People seem to have the view that collusion runs ramped in F50 because of what happened in DONs and its just not the case. F50s are the most popular form of turbo SNG PS offers, no way they axing them.

Obv u guys would argue against the inclusion of F50 into the BOP, +EV move for sure. And Mecastyles just mad cos he sux at F50s.

So tired of people saying that F50 isnt real poker anyway. So what, u dont get dealt 2 cards with 5 community cards just like every other holdem game? Just because u dont play to HU doesnt mean its not real poker. Would u consider an MTT or SNG satellite that pays more that 1 seat to not be real poker either?

9mans are just dead due to the rake and 6man u cant play alot at the same time and fish obv like 6man hyper. The only reason is that the rake is reasonbly set at f5050s. Obv party joking about 5050s being not poker but saying its the most popular turbo format is ridiculous, at the certain point its almost the only turbo format that you can play alot of volume in , so yeah, its the most popular one out of one.. wooo woooo

Obv i was only judging popularity by the amount of games that run. Completely agree that it might be because of rake killing the other formats, but thats besides the point.

idk 6max turbos are there so i kinda understand it imo

what i do not understand is why there arent atleast highstakes 9man hypers, there is no competition that it can kill anyways. 5050 is entirely different game and 9man turbo/nonturbo is dead mostly cuz of rake/structure combination but still its dead, so its a winwin to add a 200 a 300 and a 500$ 9man hyper, just replace one of the useless turbo or nonturbo slots in the lobby for a hyper

If Stars does something with their Steps similar to what FT has now (cash-out at top, cash or equal+ Step ticket for lower Steps, ability to use Steps tickets for other buyins of equal value), it's going to really take off IMO. At least if the recreational players know what/where they are.

do $100 9m hypers run much? Id def like to see 200/300s. I think its almost time that they take regular/slow speed sngs out of the lobby, i filtered them out since they run so infrequently.

they do not run that much alltho i expect it to become more which has been happening so far, furhter more there is not really a downside of killing a game with adding them and it will create a better system from low to high buyins which will attract people to play more of them. I did play 22 60s in 2 hours (offpeak) so they are getting more popular even at considerable buyins
