Hello,

I just want to inform you all that we are planning to discontinue the client PokerStars 6 early next year. My colleague, Keith has posted a Q&A post here, which should answer some of your questions, but apart from that I am also interested in hearing further feedback from you.

We particularly want to hear about features that you now use in PS6 that you feel are missing in PS7, and which might make the transition to PS7 a negative experience for you. I am not thinking about problems with 3rd party software, but maybe there is functionality in PS6 that we, in your opinion, have underestimated the importance of.

Is there anyway possible we can keep PS6 because we prefer it much more than PS7?

And if not, how come? Because this seems very much like themes debate but just with operating systems rather than graphics.

The main feature i like in 6 that 7 doesnt have is familiarity. Hating new things will prob make the transition a neg experience.

Get rid of 6 fully, 7 is better.

Yeah just like we have option for 20 different themes... classic included you dont say... I think its better if they let people choose like they do there. Dont force people into software upgrade, but make it an option thats fine.

6 is relatively inferior and for that reasoning alone, I like 7.

7 did take some time to adjust, so if you get some time to play around with it and get use to the interface, I recommend doing it.

agreed x2. I was just having a weird time finding a lot of stuff but the make tabs like PS6 that button helped a lot. You wont find me complaining, I also agree its a superior operating system.

Im not sure if it's the theme Im using or a change Stars made but I can no longer hover over a player and see their country, connection and (when theyre sitting out) stack size.

If this is intentional it seems kinda dumb as it allows for angles and slows the game down while you have to open the lobby to see a stack size.

If there's a quick fix and someone could let me know Id really appreciate it.

What level is the stalling a problem at?

I'm only playing the $3.50 level at the minute and there is little to no problem there that I can see. I'm pretty sure you guys are playing higher up. Just don't want blanket changes at all levels when there doesn't seem to be a problem at the micro stakes.
