Although can you please clarify specifically which SNG MTT's you're talking about here?

Just 180's? Just turbo's? Or reg speed 180's too?

Any tweak to 90's? (obviously 45's are already 15%)

We'll look at all SNG MTT's, but what the final result will be is not 100% certain. I will post some initial proposals sometime this week.

Most players have made it clear that they didn't want to see this, but your choice of words suggests that it is still, at least in name, only a trial, and not (yet) a permanent change.

"...see how it goes" further suggests that there are some outcomes expected from this change, so what are the criteria you will be using to decide whether or not it has been a success? And what timeframe are you allowing before considering results against those criteria, so that we, as players, can all come back at that date and see if we're going to get them back again?

If those criteria and a timeframe don't exist then this is either:-
a) a poor (and arbitrary) decision
b) a charade to mask the predetermined permanence of your decision, where you'll hope we're just going forget about it as time goes by.

This move really upset me tbh, Pokerstars. I don't think a single player wanted this change, and the lobby still looks like **** with 20 hypers satties bouncing around. Why not allow only 1 or 2 hypers satties per MTT and keep the rest "on deck" tucked away in the SNG > Satellite. When regs come in and register for 10 at once, thats much more of an eyesore than one single 3r that pops off every 2-5 minutes. Is that how you guys are going to run things now? Asking for opinions but then doing whatever you want anyway...

Paying 15% of sng mtt fields is a horrible move by Stars. If anything it needed to be changed to 5%.

This is because the change that they made was to the later stages of the FO 180s which barely effects the average duration. This also means that it doesn't effect the rake, therefore making it an easy change for Stars. Everyone is happy!

SNGs shouldn't appear in the MTT lobby, there is a SNG lobby for a reason, which is why I wasn't vocally opposed to the removal of 3rs. But if other SNGs are going to remain there and the lobby will remain a cluster*** of random STT satelites and other nonsense then it's obvious Stars are just using the MTT lobby as a shop window to promote the games they want people playing. Rebuys are terrible rake generators, hence the removal of $3rs.

I think, at the very least, the 3r should be included in the Tourney > Regular > All tab along with all the other 180s

Same reason they took it from tournament lobby. They don't want to encourage people to play them.

Are you going to pretend there's a reason for removing 3rs other than the lack of rake or just ignroe the question. Just interested if you guys have come up with a fake reason for us to laugh at or not. When you say "see how it goes" you surely have to at least tell us what you're looking for to decide if it's a positive change or not?

Also there is no 1.25 / 2.5k blind level in the 3rs. Get your facts straight

The rebuy tournament is different from the other 180s in that there are a lot more chips in rotation. This means that there is less need for the extra level in that specific tournament.

This at least makes some sense, as it's not going to be at or near the FT, but in that case the 3.50rs would benefit from a 12.5k/25k level instead of jumping straight to 15k/30k. It's exactly the same 50% jump so the same reasons to smooth it out should apply imo.


Any answer for us yet on the success/failure criteria for the "trial" of removing them from the MTT lobby though?
