pretty sure almost everyone who plays 35/180s would love to trial 11r/180s, PLUS a TOOOON of casual players, recreational, 2.50/180, 8/180 grinders will take shots at an 11r while they would never touch a 35/180.

I'm not so sure it would affect the 35's as much as you think. The $35 field normally has at least 35% regs and at the worst times can be 50%. These are mostly players who would definitely play both 35's and 11+r so during peak hours so you'll always have that solid base of 60-90 regs who will reg for a $35 and that should encourage others to join. For non regs some would see it more as an $11-$21 buy in rather than about $40 total since some will only use 1 rebuys or just the initial buy in. There will also be regs and non-regs who like deeper stacked mtts who normally stay away from 180's but would play $11+r 180s. The $35 volume would drop but probably not by so much that they would have to be stopped. I think the overall 180 player base is large enough to support 8/15/35 and 3.5+r/11+r. I could be wrong but the only way to know would be to trial them for a bit.

A promotion would be good just whatever it is dont make it too biased towards the 25+ tablers so that non-regs and regs who dont put in crazy volume of 180's feel they have a chance if it was a leaderboard for eg.

we have 2.50, 8, 15, 35, and 60 FO 180s, and only $3.30r/180s, 3r/180s are insanely popular, give us one more buyin level up! At least trial it instead of the 35s or 60s on a sunday ONE TIME STARS!!! There will be so many mtt players who never play 180s trying these.

as of now nobody really plays them, sync breaks would help get more running. i'm happy to keep them as reg speed as 18 and 45 mans only turbos go off. is really the only mid buyin mttsng reg speed that runs at all. (as $11/45 reg speeds havn't been added yet!

team trousers i can't believe that you want sync breaks taken away from 45s, would kill the format. as a compromise for recs, how about if a mttsng starts after 50mins past the hour there is no break?

one thing that pisses off recs now is when then sync break is going and an mttsng starts during the break time, all the regs tableninjas automatic clicking timebank. the first hands take sooo long. maybe disable timebanks during the break period on the 1st level or something.

Well that's the point. Better for recs who play one or two games at a time. Well, it'd be 50-50 if they regged at quarter to the hour whether that hour had a break in it or not but it's still better than them moaning that's it's every hour. A two hourly break is good for regs playing continuous, as I'm presuming the main reason they want breaks is to pee pee

are you saying that there will be a break in ALL tournaments at 2 hours increments say 0:00et 02:00et 04:00et etc, or just when specific tournaments reach the 2 hour mark? as the latter is just an awful idea.

Obviously not the latter, yes that would be awful. My suggestion is either switch every tournament of any kind to break after 90 minutes instead of one hour, which I very much doubt they would go for. Or to introduce 2 hourly breaks for the 18, 27 and perhaps even 45 and 180 player games too. So a break at 00:55, then whilst all other MTT's break again at 01:55, the MTT SnG's dont break again until 02:55. This is just to simply bring breaks to 18/27 players, because alot (especially recreationals) would feel every hour is too much for those games. My personal opinion is that hourly is too often for any game at all, if I had my way all breaks would just shift to bi-hourly.

I really like the idea of having $60 180's as a regular Sunday thing. It gives players a shot at $3k in 1:40 without having to go through a big field. They'd dry up quickly if they ran all week though.

Everything should be on break from 55 to 00 I don't care when it starts, it pisses me off when you get a 3.5 addon period during that time and the tourney starts after the 3 mins rather than waiting till the end of the break.

Break means BREAK, so nothing should be allowed to run during that time.

I know you've shot this idea down before but they would be better for the games if they were to replace 35s and keep something like 50/60s. More people would be able to play something like an 11r because the ROI would be higher thus the swings lower. Worth a trial at best i think

This is a seperate question, but what about 1.50 rebuys? ABI would be 4.5-5, wouldnt interfere with anything, and would make the move from 2.5s to 8s easier.
