Would be nice for a stars rep opinion on the request for a bigger buy in 180 rebuy turbo SNG at around $5 $6 or $7 ...........................

This has for sure been discussed before but I have to bring it up again:

WTF, why are MT-SNGs starting in MT-SNG breaks? this is just ridic imo. You have break every 2 hours and basically have to unreg the whole lobby 1 minute before or you migth lose your break if you are unlucky. What is the problem with changeing the info tab to "the tournament will start in 5/4/3/2/1 minutes" instead of 20 seconds? Seriously, this is just super anoying. Especially for the higher BIs 18 mans it is super annoying since they don't get filled that quickly so you dont want to miss one, but at the same time it sucks to begin one of those @5:56 or whatever...

Also, please differentiate the design of the "I'm back" and "I'm ready" button or at least make it possible to "uncheck" the "I'm ready" button as long as not everybody has clicked it. Sometimes you time out so you are basically conditioned to snapclick that (grey, for hyper simple or red or whatever for other layouts) box when it apears. Super annoying though when you autopilot click the "I'm ready" button at the beginning of a break.

edit: that layout differentiation issue between I'm back and I'm ready is also somewhat of a big deal for mtts only. Imo there are just no upsides to this while it causes quite a bit of pain when you misclick the boxes. Just changing the color of one of the 2 would be realy nice...

And the low-rake excuse probs doesn't work anymore because 180-mans are dying; you'd probs rake more with $8-10 rebuys than you do $35 180s.

That has been an ongoing fight from regs vs PS for a long time now. PS says that if they do that, recs would not want to play which is just dumb. Recs wouldn't give a **** if they had to wait 4 instead of 1 minute for a SnG to start and fields wouldn't suffer for sure because of this. Being a 180-men reg I either end up losing time from my break or hands for sitting out.

this argument is just super ******o imo, if the tournament starts at 5:53 and goes on break after 3 hands everything is fine but recs will instantly quite if the tournament takes couple of minutes to start... this is so BS, seriously Stars, this is ridic.

Starting sngs in breaks basically leads the whole synced break idea (thank god we have them nowadays) ad absurdum for for every multi-tabler who make up tha vaste majority of players in these fields.

Causing that kind of pain for so many of us while a change in the worst case has a somewhat minor traffic effect which is far from obvious and in my eyes pretty questionable... seriously?

Please fix this problem guys, it really is an important issue for us grinders. We need to eat, go to the bathroom and get our eyes of the monitor at least somwhat regularly and relaxed.

You said 5:53 but you can even add 1 minute. If the first hand is dealt before XX:55 hits there will be a break. Also, if this was implemented on all the multi table SnG, what would recs do? Stop playing at all because they don't feel like waiting 4 minutes to start?

It's even worse if you're away from the computer during the break and a SnG starts. If you happen to be on the blind, you make others wait 60 seconds for your timebank to expire and you end up losing it until more time is added.

There are a million points favouring this decision and one against it (one that I don't even believe is true). I seriously can't understand why Stars doesn't implement it. At least do it and take it back in case recs actually react badly to it.

Imo no. In some of these games edges are so slim that simply missing 3 minutes is not going to be an accaptable option.

And I'm almoste sure some recs would rather wait until the break is over than play 3 hands where they steal the blinds and timebank from players who are sitting out since they want to play and compete in this game of poker against other players!

Not sure about 180s, but 18 mans have ante from hand 1 so basically it doesnt matter which pos your in, your timebank gets burned.

Seriously this somewhat feels like stars intentionally wants to decrease edges of good regs so that just another 1-2% of the money lost by recs in those games ends up beeing raked allthough almost all of it allready ends up beeing turned into rake. If that would be the true intention behind it we can bring as many good arguments as we want, they will not change it anyway. Needless to say I hope that this is not the case!!!

Being a 180-men grinder, I wouldn't mind that but, as randomkid said, that's not an option for 18-men or 27-men etc. There are games where losing 3-5 minutes of play is considerable.
