I've never wandered into this corner of the internet, but I do like tourney poker. I've played a very modest number of games in my life. Probably <500 multitable tourneys and a few more single table tourneys including homegames and online play. I've had some success in both arenas but could probably use some help. I've never read a tourney book and probably should since I apparently like tourneys. It used to be all no limit holdem but within the past year I've played a mix of all the games offered on swcpoker. It's been fun.

So if I'm wrong in a strategy thread, just remember that I probably suck.

yes, but there are a ton of new restrictions as to which stats can be displayed and how many colours you can use (lol). There's a thread in the zoo with a hefty PDF file linked that details everything, but be prepared it ain't easy to follow.

if you just download the latest HEM/PT updates they'll remove all the prohibited stuff. You're allowed a maximum of 3 colours per statistic now (so you can still have green for low/orange for standard/red for high for example) and all dynamic in-hand stuff is now banned (so you can't automatically raise 2.2BB+1BB for every limper) but most stuff is still ok.

Today tried to exchange bunch of smaller bills (20s) to 500s during the WSOPE in Berlin. I counted the 20s many times before at home. I took the 20s in different stacks with me because one stack was too much. The cashier counted 25 bills less than my count. I asked to count it again, they did with the same count. I didnt pay attention to what they did with the bills since I was getting the other bills from my bag while they where handling the onesi had given. The second time I didnt check because I was looking in my bag for the potentially lost bills.

Why this makes me suspicious:
I really can not find the bills, I searched through my bag, my suitcase, even at home. I counted the bills 5times, because each time I kept getting it off by 1 note so wanted to be sure, 8 hours before this transaction so its not that my memory is wrong. Furthermore they asked how much it was that I wanted to transfer before the exchange. I rounded this number up with the remark ''around'' so maybe they saw some opportunity to scam there?

In my opinion two possibilities:
The cashier scammed (unlikely)
I somehow lost the bills (just as much unlikely because the stacks were in 100 notes each)
The cashier made a mistake (seems impossible because it was an automatic counter and they did it twice)


My question is: has anyone ever gotten scammed by a cashier in a casino?
