Where are all the SNG sats ? I played a few earlier, and now there's only a handful of sats all of them with StarsCoin buy-ins. This has to be an error, right ?

Hey guys, there is an internal error or something of the like with the sats which is why they aren't in the lobby. I and daddyrnac realized we were literally missing money in our cashier after our sessions so we contacted Pokerstars Bryan and he removed them while they investigate the situation...clearly the correct play

All of you should check your results to make sure you're not missing money; not sure if the problem was isolated to just a certain 6max cash hyper sat or anything like that

Yes, we are investigating an issue that has lead to some players not being credited T$ when winning a satellite for a target they are already registered for.

It does not seem to happen for all players, and for the players affected, it is not something that is happening every time.

We will not re-deploy the satellites until we know what has happened, and players will be refunded their missing T$ as soon as possible. All the tournament wins are registered in the system, so it will be possible to find all tournament wins that did not receive a credit.

well bc not everyone playin that satellites. how it can happen honestly ?

It is happening with EPT Satellites too, I'm 99% sure my balance is significantly lower than it should be.

ive been grinding heaps of sattys including aussie millions. will each players histories be checked or will we need to request an investigation individually?

I'm a little confused; is the case that the tournament entries for the offending satelites are all showing correctly in player audits (along with the "tournament won" notification) but the T$ are not credited? If so, it'll be trivially simple for players to check their own audits and confirm that balances are correct. If the rogue games aren't even appearing in audits, it's a much bigger problem.

I have an Excel sheet somewhere that parses player audits (it was designed to check that staked players weren't modifying their audits by removing winnings, but could easily be adapted for this purpose), and I'd be happy to pass it on to anyone who suspects they may be affected, but I'd need to know it's worthwhile before digging it out and doing any work with it.

Worth checking if you are registered in a dif package for same event. ie some sats are packages others are seats. If you win both one doesn't automatically get credited, unless you msg stars. From a quick inspection you are in both the package and seat qualifier for Dublin Jabra. Aussie Mils also has a bunch of dif ones, since the XE has fluctuated a lot recently, so would look to see how many you are regged in and go from there.

Once the issue is fixed, we should be able to give refunds to all players without anything needing to be done from your side. Of course, you want to check that the refunds are correct, and the audit should be able to provide you with the information you need. The problem is only with credits to your cashier, the tournament win is registered in our system and your audits.

Hi all,

A software bug has been identified, preventing credits for repeat satellite winners in some instances. It is very likely that this problem began following the recent server restart on Thursday, 14 January.

It is not happening for all repeat satellite wins and the evidence at present suggests that it is affecting a relatively small proportion of satellite players. Our developers are working to determine the exact cause. Once that is complete, we will run a query to determine which players have been affected, for how much money, and will then credit all affected players. In the meantime, we have disabled SNG satellites, but we will restore them as soon as possible.

Hey guys, I was one of the players affected and I found all 4 instances where I was shorted money on Thursday. I went all the way back through Sunday (>1000 game sample) and found no other instances of this happening, so I'm pretty sure this has only started since the latest server restart on Thursday morning, but ofc I can't be sure of this and I don't play the EPT/live sats, just posting regarding my experience!

The issue has been fixed and SNG satellites are now back in the lobby. Credits will be made as soon as a full list of affected players has been compiled. We anticipate credits will be made in the next 48 hours. There is no need to provide us with information; however, it is recommended that you verify your credits once they are received.

Edit: credits were sent out on 16 January @ 3PM ET.

The EPT Grand-Final 700EUR satty has way worse structure (3k starting 12 min levels) than corresponding EPT Dublin 500EUR ones (5k starting 15 min levels). Should be fixed imo, bring back the old 7.5k starting @ 10/20 please.

Places paid shown in sats is confusing as fk. Can anybody tell me how does this work?

Say there's an $11 sat to a $109 target, with 40 entrants, and the pool is $400.

There will be 3 seats awarded, and $73 left over.
This $73 will be split up into 4 increments of $16.50 (for places 4-7) and a single $7 (for 8th). Because reasons.
The info tab will happily inform players that 5 places are paid. This is because 5 players receive cash.

That's my understanding of how it currently works. Of course it doesn't always work like this, so there's little value in ever looking at the info tab if you're playing a satelite. It's been pointed out to Stars multiple times (I've personally raised it at least 4 times in various threads and privately), but it's not been fixed because reasons.

I think this is right anyway. Totally useless info, somehow stars didn't agree it needs changing tho if I remember right.

Attention stars: You are not crediting people T$ for winning multiple seats to dublin.

PokerStars is free rolling the times that people grind on without checking their cashier by not crediting the T$ automatically.

We shouldn't have to send emails to support every time this happens, just fix it please can't be that hard - at one point in time T$ were automatically credited for additional seats. I encourage anyone who has won multiple seats to ukipt/ept dublin to get an audit and ensure you were credited T$ in these instances. Support told me to just unregister from the event so I can be credited the T$ - but there is no way to click the 'unregister' button when you open up the client.

This is not accurate! What happened was you won both a package and a seat-only qualifier. Technically, these are satellites to two different dummy tournaments. You've been unregistered from the seat only dummy tournament and the T$ is in your account. Apologies for the confusion, but there is no way for the system to see you've already won a package satellite and thus automatically unregister you from the seat only dummy.

In the future, check your registered tournaments list to see what dummy tournaments you're registered in.

Stars dont forget to add some normal/deep non turbo sats that start -1 day before minis and ofc a lot more variants of sats like real sunday milly/kick off tourny.

Luke: I was incorrect in assuming the possibility of additional seats not being credited - beyond being registered in the 'dummy' tournament. My bad.

Having to email support in order to be credited the T$ and not being able to unregister from the 'dummy' tournament manually though was accurate.

I hadn't realized that the software differentiates the two. Can you suggest a minimum wait time for us to refrain from emailing support about unregistration in the 'dummy' tournament? I am assuming that at some point we will be manually be unregistered by someone working behind the scenes - I waited 24hr to see if that would happen but wasn't long enough in this case.

Phase satellite were AWESOME , are we gonna get a weekly for EPT Monaco? I bet a phase 2 with 2 package guaranted would make a huge impact.

i don't know if someone still reads this thread but i will give my thoughts.
regarding the 7$ 3x r/a sats for the Thrill - you offer 5 I think on the day of the Thursday Thrill.
they are pretty popular but attract a lot of people who can't afford it and thus people start stalling every hand and you sometimes get to play less than 30 hands in the last half hour (1 hand per minute!). This makes the playing experience not so great to put it mildly(both for the regs and amateurs).

if you compare it with tuesdays where you have 11 4$ 3x r/a sats, you could see that the playing experience is much better in those and participation is also good (an average of 40 hands in the last 30 minutes).

I think adding 3-4 4$ 3x R/A sats for the Thrill on Thursday would give a chance to those people who want to try to qualify for the Thrill but can't afford 82$ turbos or try to stall in the 7$ 3x sats.

does anyone know why the 2013 or 2015 or 2016 stars satellite thread get ignored or no longer updated the reason for that?
