hey everyone im new to 180's and im just wondering if anyone can offer any tips for the best way to layout multiple tables on your laptop if your screen is just a standard laptop size (15inch or whatever). tiling? stacking? cascading?

im one of them people that like to be able to see all tables at once, however playing a high number of tables means tables are sooo tiny and its hard to see info clearly. with stacking though id imagine you to time out on some tables? or am i wrong?

thanks in advance!

step 1: get TableNinja
step 2: get used to stacking
step 3: grind way more productively and more comfortably than you've ever grinded before.

can't remember the last time i've actually timed out (except when i've been on break etc) and i stack and play up to 30 tables. it takes a while to get used to it, and you'll be paranoid for a while that you've timed out on all your tables, but its so much better.

not gonna lie 16 days, advice wait for actual bank statement, and an actual bill, not just something that says your name is attached to it, what you can do is get your name on a bill, then demand they send in a bill, for electric that took us reading the meter ourselves and being pushy on the phone. If your setting up your own lease you should be good w/ that + bank + land line contact. land line contact can be made outside your home so become friends w/ a local business that wont mind you receiving a call.

Good to see ya at the tables John, although IIRC you have been pretty unlucky in the tables I've been at. I busted you in a couple but I think they were standard coolers mainly.

Also, agree with parker and rabbito, BBV doesn't belong here, it ruins threads like this.

thanks for the advice. what setting do u have when u stack, the option for a table to pop up when action is needed? because id imagine if u did that (iv always used that option) if your deciding upon a decision on a table wudnt another one just pop up ontop of it? then that table would just "sit out" and fade into the background?

or does that not make sense? (i hope you get what i mean )

Yeah that makes sense, pop up when action is required is the one I use.

It pops up the next one after you've made your decision. Basically there's a queue formed for tables requiring action, and as soon as you make your decision at the table on top of the stack, the next in queue pops up. If there's no queue, it will stay there until a table does require action, at which point that table table will pop to the top of the stack.

If I remember correctly, TableNinja has a pretty generous trial period. Give it a go.

This is a layout that I made quite a while ago that I still use. I think it's far more comfortable than something like 'asdf'.

Mouse scroll wheel up and down are increase and decrease bet-size by a small-blind. I also have two more buttons on my mouse allocated to seperate "set table aside" locations.

Similar to mine rabbito, except I use 4 different stack locations to seperate 3r's from FO's. Also seperate tourneys by blind levels(1 stack for pre-ante, 1 stack for ante, 1 stack for bubble/FT). Having 2 monitors helps a lot.

Mine:

1 (pinky): fold
2 (ring finger): check/call
4 (index finger): bet
a (shift pinky to this button when needed): All in(Do not autoclick bet)
` (shift pinky to this button when needed): Go to next table requiring action. Great for when the lobby pops up if you use the autorego.
F1 (shift index finger to this when needed): Move table to predefined spot
F2 (shift index finger to this when needed): Move table to predefined spot
F3 (shift index finger to this when needed): Move table to predefined spot
F4 (shift index finger to this when needed): Move table to predefined spot

ctrl+alt+esc: Disable hotkeys

with the new buy ins introduced by stars, do you expect the 15/180 to be tougher than the 12/180? i only say this because didnt there used to be a 20/180? so with their now being a 15 and a 35, wouldnt a big % of the old 20/180 players drop down to this new 15 level? making things tougher?

I started after the changes, but from what I've heard, $15's are about the same as $12's were, $2's havn't changed at all, and $8's are a really good in-between.

That being said, traffic has supposedly taken a massive hit.(From black friday, not from the changes) And the fish are a little less fishier since then also.

funny

i did an odd silly n go some day ago with obv like 0.034BB and it worked, i was pretty stunned and felt like superman and batman in one.actually it felt like playing poker which was weird.

then the next day some reg did it vs me, i snapcalled a totally missed flop, won the hand, but instantly went berzerk and started with stop n go ur mum, searched the reg on other tables to continue to go off on him.

rumour, a lot of people fail at posting in the first months (as I did and still do sometimes), but you're one of the guys that really insist to be right and just doesn't even try to improve.
