I completely disagree, yeh playing just sets is stupid, but playing consecutive for say 200 is also stupid imo.
It doesnt have to be one end of the spectrum or the other, the optimum point is probably somewhere in between.
Profit $$$ > Volume/Ego.

unless you max out at like 5-10 tables, playing sets in a day just makes it so most of your playing time is spent building up to your max tables or finishing up. max value is 2nd hour to 2nd to last hour, so make that time last as long as possible!

These are great responses thanks. I feel most comfortable firing up a set 8-12 of the $12 and the $7, so i can focus in end game.

Although once u feel more comfortable with 180s and have the endurance im sure its more profitable to be continuous like all day. I am going to try and build to that.

I think its what ever is most +ev for you and makes ur the best hourly rate.

cool thread, im real over 180s but i really admire some of your guys work ethic when it comes to mass grinding mid-low stakes, lotsa moneys to be made. how much softer have 36/180s gotten on weekdays during peak times now that theyre in the main lobby?

^ Gunna be honest, I thought it was Emma Watson when i first saw it today.

Grimerat: I didn't have a big sample before they got moved into the lobby, but I can only assume it has helped bring a lot more volume and weaker players.

probably depends on what % of your grind will be 36s. if it's like 10-15% you won't need that much of a bigger roll (maybe 20% bigger then what you require for 12s)
