I have been playing poker for a little over a year and just decided to start playing MTT. I have made a list of things I study and to help me grow and learn as a player to meet my goals. I would enjoy some feedback and maybe opinions on what I can add or change to my study program.

Coming into poker I knew that you don't start as a good player. I know that with time and effort you can become good at anything. I know with lots of practice anything is possible. I know people come in here all the time saying they want to be a pro poker player, it's very possible but very hard. I wanted to play in the MLB and I made it through college playing baseball. but i didn't make the MLB. I know coming into poker it's the same as baseball as in you cant play for a month and be pro you have to put time and effort to work your way to the big leagues either in poker or baseball. My goal isn't to become pro goals short and long is to win an MTT, Win money, build a bankroll, and just be a good player all around. So here is what I study to achieve my goals.

I knew with baseball that the basics are the most important thing and that's the same with poker in my opinion.

Monday: I study how to play texas hold 'em, rules, and study the cards to eventually memorize them all without looking including how many there are.

Tuesday: Positions, betting, everything preflop, preflop stragey.

Wedsday: Flop, turn, and river.

Thursday: Pot odds, range, reading any poker-related book.

Friday: MTT strategy, stack size strategy, 3 bets, and 4 bets

Saturday: Bluffing, reading anything poker related

Sunday: Watch poker games and related videos.

The reason I don't do one topic at a time is fear of burnout from just staying on one topic. I also play one game after each study. If you have any suggestions please add them so I can put them on my study list.

I play freerolls only because my bank doesn't allow me to put money on any poker site or buy bit coin so i have to make a bankroll from freerolls.

So you’ve been playing for a year without knowing the rules?

Also why do you need to memorise the cards as you can see them whenever you like in a hand?

I’m 50/50 on if this is a troll

Because you have to memorize what outs you have when you flop a draw or whatever the situation might be. I didn't say that I played without knowing the rules I just said I study the rules because good players know everything about the game they play and why those rules are there. Also, I'm 50/50 on if you're a troll or not
