Multitabling set up of tables? Multitabling set up of tables?

Been finding myself misclicking a lot when playing lots of tables on both stars and FTP. Ie. Pressing btn on 1 table on FTP, a stars table pops up and I call of 30bbs with 94o. My question is do you guys cascade all your tables? Stack them? Tilt them? Manually? thx to anyone who cares

I prefer tiling ( or whatever it is called ). This way I have a nice overview of all the tables of what goes around at each table. But there is a downside that you need a big screen and can't more than 12 tables before it gets too small.

If i cascade it and you get a lot of action at once i kinda get some sort of freeze. You make all the decicions and at the end of the action I always wtf just happened.

I tile them cause I have a large monitor and only play 4 tables

i just started playing more tables and have been tiling 6 with some overlap and then stacking 2 or 3 on one spot.

if you're playing on more than one site you need to make sure each stack only has one site in it though, to avoid calling off 30bbs with 94o

also if you get deep it's a good idea to have that table on its own.

interested to hear people who are better at multitabling that me's opinions though, seeing as i only just started playing >6tables and i'd like to hear how they do it.

Paging mement! How do you 20+ table over multiple sites? I misclick like a madman whenever I try stacking because tables will unexpectedly pop up when I'm trying raise/fold/call on a different table.

I play on a laptop and I'll run 16+ tables on occasion (usually I aim for 8-12). I just sort of let the tables setup in the corners and move them slighy so I'm always one click away from any one table. When I play stars and FT I'll leave all the FT tables in corner and the Stars tables in the other 3 ( I always end up playing a lot more stars tables than FT ones).

I stack 20-25 tables in the top left corner of the screen and click the middle mouse button to bring a table to the side. Idk maybe you could try binding the same keys for table Ninja and the FTP SNG helper software that I forgot the name.

I tried to cascade on both sites once and both sites seem to program the tables to be on the left? How do I make FTP be on the left and Stars on the right for cascading?

Also, I prefer tiling but you can't tile on both sites so they compliment each other? I guess I'd have to do it manually, but that's a pain because it's like 15+ tables and I'm busting/reloading constantly.

What you could do is open like 15 tables on Stars, cascade them and make it a custom layout. Then go on FTP and manually cascade 15 tables or whatever in the top right corner and save another custom layout. So then when you load tables on both sites just open the custom layouts, and voila. Stars cascaded in the top left, and FTP in the top right. The tables should auto-position themselves when you bust/load new ones, and if not I believe you can bind a hot key to use a custom layout.

Edit: Or vice versa since you wanted Stars in the top right.

tilt the screen, for some reason most poker sites has designed their interface so they fit better this way...

Not tiling for MTTs is insane, though I guess with TableNinja you could make stacking work for you.

I run Tilt on one monitor and Stars on another ... or if I'm only playing one site, I have MTTs on one screen and SNG MTTs on another.

i only play on one site. when i get two monitors i will have one site per monitor.

i 24-28 table on stars w/ tiling. i don't tile any tables after 24 because i find it's easier for me. i MUST tile tables because i must see what is going on at all tables, i must get ahead by auto folding on ez decisions and i must make notes and look up players in sharkscope (yes bitch, i am sharkscoping while 24 tabling, holla!)

I really can't see anything other than tiling when you have so many different situations among your tournaments. Unless you can't quite see clearly at the maximum, tiling seems best. Cascade/stacking would make you have to look at stacks/blinds/antes everytime there is a preflop decision, when you could've had all that in the back of your mind (at least somewhat) if the table was visible at all times, not just decision time. That extra stuff you have to take your time to repeat will likely take more time and possibly fry your brain too.

I would suggest tiling with some overlap but with hero always in the middle of the table, because that's what I do. I know I'm going to lose credibility for saying, this, but I have never played 20+ or stacked/cascaded tables. It just seems too goofy to me. As for multi sites, obviously create custom layouts with certain areas of your screen(s) for each site. I believe FTP only uses the main monitor, so you will need tot take that into consideration.

i use a laptop and a monitor and tiling works for that for 12-16 tables. anymore more than that i would just get Table Ninja

I play on a 24 inch monitor so I have alot of space to work with but heres what I use:

4 tables or less: Tile

4-7 tables: Overlap so that none of the action buttons are on top of eachother

8 tables or more: Cascade

Full Tilt works fine on a 2nd monitor. If I select the tiled layout while using my main monitor, the tables will stay on it. However, if I move 1 table to my right monitor and select "tile" they will tile on my 2nd monitor.

I was actually quite surprised when I found this out. After reading 2+2 I expected issues, but using a 2nd screen couldn't be easier with FTP. Maybe they recently fixed the issue?

Maybe, I don't think I had ever bothered with it. I just knew that PS was rather automatic once I got over 6 or 9 tables. It doesn't matter now since I was never really a MTTer (I just give tourney advice lol) and I only play FTP now anyways. Thanks for the info though, I will definitely look into it.

I have no idea about playing multiple sites- but I stack 12-15 tables on stars. I also use table ninja- makes it easy to flick back and forth between them.
