Anyone has early stage strategy? I don't even know whether Im playing poker or not. Rebuy at early stage is like calling station playing casino! Everyone gamble with rags, I really don't know how to handle that.
How many times do you guys plan to rebuy?

Need advice

I rebuy amply as much as 5-10 times if I have to until the add (which I probably dont because I am too tilted to continue lol). I think they're fun cuz yous git ta gamboooool!!!

In all seriousness though you can push slight edges - or even marginal ones - where you would otherwise pass or fold in a freeze out. Its too broad to get into it here but where I might not get it in with a big pocket pair or big slick in a regular tourney I would in a rebuy knowing I can rebuy.

Also worth noting rebuys are not the same as re entry. You dont pay rake in a rebuy when you rebuy whereas you do in a reentry so strat is not the same.

Yeah as simon said, I'm more likely to push coinflips and marginal edges during RB period whereas I would pass on those spots in the early stages of a freezeout. The fact that vill GII ranges are so much wider during RB also supports us widening our own GII ranges as well.

The number of times I personally rebuy depends on the prizepool and payout structure. There is a particularly top-heavy rebuy on Bovada that I usually will only RB once because beyond 1 rebuy would require a nearly top5 finish (in a field of around 50-75) to make money.

My decision to rebuy is also sometimes influenced buy the number of BB the add-on will provide us. Sometimes it's a negligible amount like 10-15bb whereas sometimes it's a 30-40bb addition.

Thanks for the advice, i guess I'm not ready for rebuy MTT. 5-10 time of rebuy is too much for my bankroll.
The only problem I have is often ran deep and busted out right before ITM. I played well in the early stage but sometimes couldn't get any good cards in the middle stage.
