more proof that i need a break. that wasn't meant to sound sarcastic. i was saying ty, and i was saying ur past 400 posts have been great
my calculators are on the blink. was wondering if anyone could put some realistic ranges in stove or sngwiz and figure out the calling range for these two. #1 might well have been a2c, but was confident with 46s in game. second one was easy fold, but thought the calling range was still very wide maybe >50%.
I'm wondering what people's bb/100 looks like for mtts or to roughly get an idea.
Here are mine it looks like I need to work on my game in the big blind and it I'd think my BU and CO bb/100 would be highger but I guess since my ranges are wider I don't win as much per hand.
It doesn't like look the image is working so I'll list the bb/100 rates by position:
SB (18.87)/100
BB (88.51)/100
EP 31.27/100
MP 30.05/100
CO 30.78/100
BU 28.75/100
Roughly 500K hands overall so not the biggest sample but should have an idea. If anyone has solid advice or links to articles and videos to study on playing in the blinds, I'd appreciate it.
After some research it looks like solid bb/100 rate's are -15bb/100 in the SB and -30bb/100 in the BB so I have a lot of work to do in the BB considering if I just folded every single hand I lose 100bb/100 -88.51bb/100 over 60K hands seems horrifically bad and I'm desperately working to fix this. If anyone else reading this needs to work on it as well add me on skype rickyt8888.
alright no hh, nightly 109 on merge blinds 60/120/12
Hero (button and 3600) is dealt XX
folds to hero, hero raises 240, bb raises to 605, hero?
Villain has like 5k and is reg i recognize. There is no particular dynamic built up from prior time and no history for this tournament though villain likely has compiled stats that show me opening button at a quite generous rate and generally being on the more aggressive(spewy?) side.
Crossposted from HS, may get better feedback here.
Venetien DSE $150k. We are withering with ~21bb at 200/400/50 level and have been card dead all day. Passive omc w 30bbs and tendency to limp/fold from all positions limps in UTG+1. Passive 35-40 yo w 40bbs limps behind in MP. Hero has K8hh on the button. Shove or wait for a better spot?

ty ellie
50/50
the limp/fold dudes like to 'balance' by limp calling KK+ a little too often for this to be a snap jam, but it is a tasty spot regardless. how far from itm?

It's a $26. Opener is 21/15 over 83 hands stealing 38%. He's a midstake reg with a new account. Do you like to reshove KQo here or he's too often nutsed when he opens with 13bb?

Thx, itm is not in sight, only about halfway thru day 1b. Agree with u oldsilver but I'm really only concerned w v1 and his limp/c range for 2/3 his stack is super slim. V1 folds but V2 soul reads and calls with KJo sigh
