Mixed Game Competition? Mixed Game Competition?

Sorry if I'm just wasting people's time here. I don't know who is allowed to set up competitions here but I'm willing to set this one up if allowable.

This is for players on PokerStars who play games other than NL Holdem. It will be playable for the casual player or the experienced pro. It will be playable for players of micro or macro stakes. The main idea will be to learn as many different games of poker as possible (PokerStars has about 30).

There will be 4 sets of rankings:

1) number of different games cashed
2) % of different games cashed / all games played
3) profit/loss
4) ROI

The winner of each ranking gets points equal to the # of entrants. Each player lower in the ranking gets 1 point less. The last place finisher gets 1 point.
You add your points for all 4 categories.
Most points win.

The competition will be over a set time period (2 weeks or so?)

We use OPR data so only OPR tracked tournaments count and each entrant must "opt in" to OPR. The 4 character "GAME" column on OPR indicates the different games.

Rebuy tournaments can't be used for profit/loss or ROI but they can be used for total # of different games cashed and % of different games.

Buyin should be low so that this is more for fun than for gain.

I assume I'm too new here to be trusted to handle money so we'll need one veteran who will be OK with holding the money.

I can do the stats but I would like to run this as a test first before anyone puts any $ in. We'll need to check for any bugs/problems.

Any info on the rules 2+2 uses for competitions?

Anyone volunteer for a "dry run" of the competition (about 20 entrants would be nice).

I'm in. I odn't really get it atm, but I understood it roughly and will read it again tomorrow, earlier in the day. I play Mixed and others and have a bit more than I need to play the low buy-ins offered on the reg, so this is perfect for me

Cheers

No interest at all here but I'm still interested in mixed games so I've started the "Mixed Game Challenge" thread. The difference is that no $ changes hands in the challenge so it will proceed even if there is no interest because all mixed game players will be participating. The object will be to determine the best mixed game player and country on PokerStars.
