Action folds to BTN who jams micro 6K stack, Hero calls 6K, BB (middle aged reg, 70K) then clicks back to 12K, Hero calls 6K.

Flop (18K main pot, 12K side pot) Qd 8s 6c

Hero checks, BB bets 10K, Hero ???

Also is there ever a reason to just exploitatively fold flop when villain just clicks back pre?

I think you are behind and much, that small raise has no fold equity on live specially.
So I think they have pairs or AQ,KQ

BvB I would go all-in pre-flop and go for bounty, but 65s, I think that is 40% in best case scenerio.

Think you gotta fold this pre. Calling 3 bbs just seems kinda meh with one player left to act and you are never ahead really. Best case Villian has 33/44 and you flip.

The click back by the button is super strong and a spot we want to avoid. I would just fold with 1 player left. Obv, if you are bb and closing action- this is a call. I also think you should fold the click back bc the average live player is going to have you crushed. Flop- easy fold.
