So lets assume noone has shoved, we are utg, we have 25 BB instead of 32, this is a not the bubble, the tournament has 180 runners and the buyin is 12 instead of 109

what would you do with a9o first in utg?

Playing this hand is strictly gambling, probably very slightly cEV-. Generally, I don't think that is good. However, if you have a skill disadvantage, a style were you do best bullying with a big stack, or it is you last tournament of the night and you want it over or a big cash; then OK to play it, and pushing may be best for maximum gamble.

Easy call. BB desperately protecting and most likely holding a weak ace. Potential squeeze play at this price is risky unless you are crushed. I see heads up action. KQs is good here.

Correction. It was the UTG all-in not the BB protecting. Hmm...I still like the call here. Again, I put them on a small pair or a weak ace. Huge potential with KQs. You still have chips and they could be sent home.
