5 handed with 10 players left in a $600 live MTT. Big stack has been active and raises to 110k at 50k bb. I have $800k in the BB with KQcc. I'm the low stack. 1K pay jump to 9th.
I shove pre and he calls with AJo. Board doesn't help us and out in 10th. Anyone have a different line?

Probably not. Given the big stack's activity, your position as the shortest stack, your stack being enough to generate fold equity, the hands you block, and the equity you have when called, it seems like the best play.

I will typically just call here with 16 blinds vs the big stack. It also matters what position the big stack is in. I will shove more frequently if he is on the BTN.
The reason I prefer to call here is its basically a min raise and we have fold equity on the flop. Whereas our fold equity pre-flop with 15 blinds (assuming 1 is in the middle) is limited against hands like AXs, and PP's.
So for example any flop that has 2 clubs or we have any kind of straight draw we can c/r jam. I will also c/r jam combos of BDFD and BDSD, and of course any pair.
Still as the short stack its not bad to shove here pre-flop.

Ah, I forgot to ask what position the big stack was in. Five-handed it probably doesn't make a whole lot of difference, but I'm definitely more likely to shove over a button raise than a hijack raise.
There is an argument that not shoving keeps dominated hands in and you can double when you both hit top pair, but it's also hard to flop something.
