you have answered your own question. There will be a degree of trolling in this thread mainly because the majority, myself included, aren't ever going to refuse an opportunity to get KK in pre for 40bb's indeed I am never failing to get KK in pre for a lot more than this.

The thing is if you start looking at the hand as anything other than a cooler you are more likely to reject exceptionally profitable spots in the future because you have this idea that you could have done something differently that would have been better than getting KK in.

As already stated no it's not avoidable. You're absolutely crushing his 3 bet range and he's going to be stacking of with plenty of it

try not to be result orientated, even if he has 0% 3bet over the same sample you shout get it in with KK/QQ here 100% of the time

the fact that he has a relativly wide 3betting range of 13% of hands means that you can get it in here even wider

he is prolly not 3betting 13% of hands vs raises from your position, but definitly 5-7% with this stats

5% of hands = 99+ AQ+ and you have 70% Equity vs this range with KK

AKo and JJ, maybe TT you can also get in vs this villain. maybe even AQ and 99.

Re: kk's is this avoidable ?

versus a 13% 3-better, wouldn't be more profitable a call than RRAI here?

i mean, we're just folding a ton of his hands here AJ/AT or some **** that would stack off if they catch top pair (and i don't mean the A :P)
