K6s from early position K6s from early position

Hi, I've just been studying ranges for RFI from early position in MTTs, and I noticed that various charts have K6s as a mix between mainly folds and sometimes opening from early position with 60BB+.

I was just curious under what circumstances we would raise K6s from EP, and why this hand and not K7s or K5s-K2s. In other words, what makes K6s so special?

Thanks in advance!

Its likely done for board coverage, because the charts are trying to lay out a 100% perfect GTO strategy. There is actually a recent thread with a hand from Venetian, which illustrate, why this can matter. The board ran out A-2-3-4-5 in a 3-bet pot, and the opponent overbet jammed the river. If Hero is never 3-betting with a 6 in his hand, he cant defend against this play, because then Hero only have hands, that play the board. The Villain is literally freerolling, because the worst outcome for him is, that Hero call, and they chop. This is an extreme example, but its good for illustrating the point.

6x overstraights the wheel on 2345 runouts. That is why you see a lot of strange ranges where 6x and 66 play differently than 55 and 77 as well.
