The majority of casinos play turbo/hyper turbo events in order to entice the masses into coming into the facility, in reality I am sure they lose money on them.

With an structure like this how can you use traditional game theory, all goes out of the window and it becomes a push/fold fest.

I would find that a GTH (Game Theory Turbo) would be more fitting

Nash equilibrium is applicable to short stack all-ins.

Good start to study shortstack / ICM game theory

Pretty sure even in these live MTTs there is some edge to be realised given the weak opponents

As said above p/f still uses Nash. Also, what is game theory turbo

yes you cant use 100bb cash game strategies in tournaments most of the time.

But you can study any other common stack depth 20bb, 30bb, 50bb, etc

And shortstack push/fold ranges are basically solved by game theory.
