Pre Flop: (pot: 2.3 BB) Hero has 9 T

fold, UTG+1 raises to 2.5 BB, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls 2.5 BB, fold, fold

Flop: (7.3 BB, 2 players) 9 9 6

only hand I can really put him on to do this was JJ, I think even QQ > AA would just shove themselves or at the worst check call.

You may be beat, but it is an easy call getting almost 4-1.

How often do you think villain is bluffing laying those odds? Do you think villain is value shoving worse?

In a low stake tournament I don't think I fold - against a competent opponent I'd probably fold given they jam with no FE, we are uncapped, and I can't think a lot of bluffs we'd have betting the river.

Yeah, I do think the stakes and any reads on villain matter. It's definitely different if I think my opponent is a good player vs. someone who will treat any overpair as the nuts here.
