A standard 3-betting range has all the overpairs but few hands, that actually connect with a flop like J85. Yes there are a few like JJ, AJ, KJs, A8s and A5s, but thats pretty much about it. The defending player has far more hands, that connect with the flop, so its a good flop for him, not for the 3-bettor.
